~Eight~

Many birds and animals walked around on the land. They looked fearful of our boat and guns. I was tired because I kept watch all night last night. It has been three days since we left Diego's treehouse. We were planning on stopping the boat and gathering more supplies, but then the water got really rough. Diego and Benny said that they would go on a run and get supplies for the four of us. So we stopped the boat, let them get off, and we kept watch while they went to look for fruit. Tico and I both guarded a certain area, I guarded the back while Tico guarded the front. I called Tico's name three times, but he didn't answer. I walked over to him with my pistol and found him lying on the floor of the boat. I then put my gun to the side and something pushed me against the wall. It was one of Swiper's soldiers, he picked up my gun and pointed it towards my head. "On your knees, and hands above your head!" Four more of them arrived. I did as they had asked me to do. They handcuffed me and kept the gun an inch away from my head. Then, Diego came and shot one of the soldiers while Benny tackled another. I hopped on my feet, still crouching down, and tripped the soldier who was holding my gun. I jumped up getting my cuffed hands in front of me and the other two soldiers ran at me. One of the soldiers pulled out a knife and came at me. I ducked, and choked him with the metal chain holding my hands together and cracked his neck sliding under him, taking my gun and shooting him in the head. Then, the other soldier took out his gun and shot at me. Still handcuffed, I ran to Benny so he could cut it. Benny broke it off and I finally had much more of an advantage then I had before. As I ran to the last soldier he shot at me but Diego tackled me down while Benny threw himself. Then four more soldiers showed up and Tico woke up. It was a five on four battle but suddenly five more revealed themselves. I didn't notice until about a minute after that but the boat was moving and rocking itself really badly. I heard a large amount of water falling onto other amounts of water and looked over the side of the boat to find us about a minute and a half away from a waterfall. We all panicked I lowered the anchor and it got caught onto a boulder stuck in the ground. I wanted to jump but the anchor broke and the fourteen people on the boat fell off the waterfall, and the boat crashed into the shallow waters at the bottom of the hundred foot drop.
