Floyd's POV
"That was fun." Jai says quietly.
We all nod in unison, while Lindi enters in Quinton's car, because we decided to ride separately due to them having plans. Jai, Thea, and I all pile into the vehicle. I honestly did have fun, and felt really good to be spending that time with my friends, Jai, and Thea. I felt like I belonged.
As we drive through the country, I notice how extremely beautiful the scenery is. There were mountains nearby, with snow on the tops. It was a bit foggy, but beautiful, nevertheless. I stared in awe at the mountains and sky in the distance. These were my favorite kind of days.
I feel Jai take my hand in his, and squeeze it gently. I look down at our intertwined hands, then back up at him, with a small smile on my face. He grins, and gives me a brief kiss.
"Yuck!" Thea groans.
We chuckle, and I give Thea a small hug. She kisses me on the cheek.
"What do you want to do for the rest of the day?" Jai asks me.
I shrug. "As long as I'm with you, I don't care what we do."
He gives me a warm smile, and I turn my head back to the road. I turn on the radio, and my playlist plays throughout the vehicle. Time of Your Life by Green Day came on. I hum quietly to the song.
I take my eyes off the road to take a quick glance at Jai, who was smiling intently to himself, staring out the window. I smile to myself. He looks at me and furrows his eyebrows in confusion. "What?" he chuckles.
"Nothing." I giggle.
"Tell me." he pouts.
"I-It's nothing, I just love you. A lot." I reply honestly.
"I love you too." he whispers.
"Floyd!" I hear a loud scream, coming from Thea's small voice.
I look back at the road, and it all happens so quickly.
'It's something unpredictable, but in the end is right.. I hope you had the time of your life.'

I open my eyes briefly, afraid to open them fully. I hear sirens blaring, and my heart beats rapidly. The only thing I could really hear was the faint sound of chatter, sirens, and yells, along with my heartbeat.
"What's going on?" I ask, which sounded more of a whisper.
I open my eyes as full as I can, and I realize I'm on a stretcher. Everything suddenly makes sense.
I was just in a car accident.
Oh my god, Thea and Jai!
My heart beats quicker, if that was even possible. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to them. My side hurt pretty bad, but I think I had whip lash, so I couldn't move my head down. I look up slightly, and the sky was the same as I remember it. Dull, cloudy, and gray.
But I thought it was beautiful.
God, Floyd, focus.
I see three men rolling me on the stretcher, still on the road. There are a bunch of people all over the road, looking at me, and crowded around a certain area. Jai and Thea must be over there.
"Are they okay?" I whisper. One man looks down at me.
His eyes look sad and sympathetic. "I don't think you should be worrying about them sweetheart." he moves his eyes down, towards my stomach.
