splish, splash
i took out my past and let them flow out to sea
it was hard— to let go of something you kept so dearly and hiddenletters, momentums and small treasures
pieces that reminded me of you
all tightly packed in a bottle
as time passed by, i assured that i was ready
ready to start anewi once went back to the place of reminiscence
let the cool wind blow my hair back
the once feeling of freedom flowed back into my veinsi was certain of it
i was free
from all the misery, loss and heartache
splish, splash
but to my surprise, you were back
the current could carry out my sorrows
into the vast open seabut in the end, it served as a pendulum
a never-ending back and forth motioni was never free, at all
it was just an intermission
a pausefrom what the reality really is—
i have yet to move on.
