New Writers Awards Rules 2020 [Closed]

Welcome to the second New Writer Awards Contest. This is our last monthly contest before yearly submissions open, so we recommend that you take the judging notes and information that you get from this competition seriously and use it to put your best foot forward for the yearly competition. However, this will also be the first time that we will be limiting the competition to a specific genre.

And the genre is... *drumroll please*

NEW ADULT

We noticed that quite a few submissions were of this genre and we thought it was broad enough that many of you could enter and get another chance to wow the judges. We also recommend you read our guild book Road to The New Writer Awards before entering into this competition as it will prevent incomplete submissions and give you advice on how to improve your submissions.

But we also have something super exciting about this month's prizes. The winner of the May competition will win a cover from phoebeconrey, designed specially for you. She did ours and we think that she is pretty nifty. You can check out her cover shop book if you would like to see more. Also, if you would like to offer a prize then please get in contact with us.
