Jessie had been brought back to her cell. Natasha was resting on her bed but flinched when she heard the squeaking of the cell door. When the guards were gone Natasha sat up and looked at Jessie. She noticed the bandage wrapped around the outside of her suit leg.

“Mind me asking what happened?” the red-head questioned referring to Jessie’s leg.

“We made, hopefully, two new allies who are willing to help us escape,” the Sergeant replied avoiding the assassin’s question.

“Who? The guy with silver hair and the woman? You know, those two were really out of place compared to the two agents and Strucker… Will they help us get any contact with Stark and S.H.I.E.L.D.?” Jessie shrugged.

“I think we may have to wait on that.” It had been around three hours since Jessie got back to her cell. She had fallen asleep during the time.

Jessie woke up to find herself in the middle of a field, possibly somewhere in England or Ireland. Standing us, she found herself wearing a white flowing dress. Observed her surroundings she saw the ocean. Behind her was the Handley Page Halifax, the same air-craft she had flown in 1940. Bewildered by the plane, Jessie walked over to it and opened the door stepping in only to end up walking out of an abandoned building obviously ruined by the war going on around. Jessie found herself in an army uniform then back up remembering this to be the first battle she fought in during the second World War. Looking at the sniper rifle in her hands, Jessie ran up to a ditch in the battle field and trained the rifle on two close up enemies, shooting both of them in the chest. They didn’t fall at the moment which confused Jessie. When she looked up from the scope, the two Axis soldiers were replaced by Bucky and Steve.

Jessie woke up in a cold sweat, trembling with tears in her eyes and almost screaming from the shock and horror. She sat up and began to frantically look about her surroundings. She let out a small yelp when she felt an arm wrap around her shoulders pulling her close to whoever it was as they said a few comforting words. Looking across the hall, Natasha was still in her cell indicating she wasn’t the one trying to calm and comfort the soldier. Jessie looked up to see Bruce before clinging onto the shirt he now wore, pressing her face into his chest as tears began to fall from her eyes. After another two hours, Jessie woke up finding herself asleep against Bruce’s shoulder. Footsteps were heard walking in the direction of the cells. Looking around, Jessie saw Natasha was sitting in her bed tracing random shapes in the air.  Wanda and Pietro walked over to the cells.

“We’re here to get you out,” Pietro said to Natasha who gave him a questioning glance as he began to unlock the cell door.

“Figures since you’re the only Hydra Agents in here,” Natasha replied.

“We’re not Agents, merely prisoners like you three.” Jessie rubbed her temples as the two continued to argue. Jessie looked over to Bruce and gently shook his shoulder causing him to stir awake. He rubbed his eyes as he began to look about before looking at Jessie.

“What?” he questioned. She pointed to Wanda and Pietro. Wanda rolled her eyes at her brother as he continued to argue with Natasha, taking the keys from his hand and unlocking the door to Jessie’s cell. The soldier stood up but groaned in pain having to sit back down due to her injured leg.

“Oh my God, can you two stop fighting?” Jessie asked directing the question to Pietro and Natasha. “Nat, they’re trying to help us. You can’t at least say ‘thank you’ without getting into an argument with Silver here?” The assassin sighed as she began to limp out of the cell muttering ‘thank you.’ With Bruce’s help, Jessie walked out of the cell and down the hall. It was currently empty. Wanda and Pietro led the three toward the exit.
