"SHOOT SCHMIDT, SHOOT!" Channing Tatum screamed to Jonah Hill on the highway. "I CAN'T!" He screamed back.

I laughed at the movie for the thousandth time tonight and finished the last bits of my pizza. "Hey, you done? I'll bring the plates down--" My voice faltered when I realized Aurora had fallen asleep with her arms crosed on top of her chest and half her body dangling towards the edge.

"Aurora..." I shook her shoulder gently and she let out an annoyed noise as she repositioned herself on my bed to get her entire self on it. I sighed and decided to bring down the dishes before trying to wake her up again.

Once I got back to my room, I saw her on my bed still unmoved from her previous position. I turned off the Playstation and started to wake her up again. "Aurora, wake up. The movie's over."

She let out a groan and clutched her stomach. "Aurora, wake up." I said a bit more harshly. More groaning. "Aurora." No response. "Aurora!"

Her eyes jolted awake and she got up quickly. Her forehead hit mine hard.

"Dammit." I cursed under my breath, rubbing the place where she hit me. "Sorry." She yawned. "It's okay." I replied. "What time is it?" She mumbled. I pulled out my phone to check. "Nine-ish." I opened the message from my mum.

Mum: Don't forget to give Aurora some of the cookies Riley and I made. We have too much!

"It's getting late, I should get a move on." She said as she stood up. As she did, she wobbled a bit and nearly tripped on the chair that was pulled out. "Whoa, easy. You okay?"

"Yeah, just tired." She said. "Be careful next time." I reminded her. She nodded. "By the way, my mom's got some cookies she asked for me to let you try. Wanna just take some home?" She nodded again.

"I'll be right back."

After getting the cookies to give to Aurora, I heard a retching sound coming from inside my room. Aurora was nowhere to be seen. I heard the noise again coming from the bathroom. I knocked gently on it, trying to force down the panic that was rising in my stomach.

"Aurora?"

"In here, I'm okay! My stomach's just being a b--" She was cut off by another retching noise. I set the container with the cookies on my desk as I inched towards the bathroom door. "Aurora?" I knocked lightly on the door.

"I'm good I just--" She didn't finish her sentence. "I'm coming in." I said, not waiting for a reply before opening the door.

She was positioned with her head over the seat, vomitting into the toilet. "Oh my god, are you okay?" I asked before kneeling beside her. "Obviously not." She replied. I rubbed her back as she vomitted again, having no idea whatsoever what was going on.

She flushed down the contents of the toilet when she was done, put the toilet cover down and just rested her face on it for a few seconds. "Are you feeling alright?" She shook her head. "Stomach cramps?" She nodded.

"Oh, umm stomach flu?"

"No symptoms, probably not."

"Viral infection?"

"Nope."

"Abdominal pain?"

"Slightly."

"Did you miss your period lately?"

"Luke."

"Any cravings that are out of the ordinary?"

"Luke."
