Pop's choc'lit shoppe was always a popular spot for everyone who lived in Riverdale, or anyone that was simply passing through.
Not anymore.
Pop's was no longer somewhere you could go for a good time and good food. No, if you went to Pop's today you'd be lucky if you left with your life. There'd certainly be no home for your dignity.
For Pop's has been taken. It's no longer owned and run by friendly old Pop. No, there's a new gang in town, and Pop's is their head quarters.
The Spiders.
Theor name may not be very frightening, at least not to everyone, but The Spiders infiltrated Riverdale with so many of their kind that it was impossible to flush them out. Not even The Serpents stood a chance, despite their best effort.
Nobody goes anywhere alone. The streets are quiet at all hours of the day and night.
Except when The Spiders come out to play.
