She was back home for the holidays.

So was he.

But they didn't meet frequently. He never called her. And when she called him, he won't pick the phone up.

Soon, even she stopped calling him, knowing that there's no point in calling him because he never picks up.

She once asked him,

"What if I start to like someone else?" She remembered his calm face as if he wasn't bothered by the question.

"Doesn't matter."

The short reply held the power to break her.

"Why?"

"Because when I'll spend some time with you, your feelings will come back for me." And that was true.

But only now, she realized that he has always taken her for granted.

His life was now back on track. He was happy now. He was happy living with his mother and his cousins. Her thought rarely crossed his mind. But he knew she was still in his heart.

He didn't know what she was going through. He didn't know how guilty she felt for falling in depression when she had so many people who love her.

Her life was perfect, but do we need a reason to fall into depression?

She felt guilty because there are so many people who cherish her, yet she couldn't feel that love.

She wanted him to be there.

At the same time, she wanted to forget him.

Yeah, they are still in a relationship, but it feels as if she is single. She doesn't have the courage to break up.

So, she'll just try to erase him from her body. Eradicate her feelings.

She questioned how she spent five years with that guy.

Was it her that changed?

Or was it him?

Or maybe both.
