A loud knock on Tzuyu's door was heard, waking her parents up.
The knocks increased, causing Tzuyu to wake up only to find her mom in her room.
"Mom? Who's outside?" She asked her mother, sitting up.
"It's Jungkook. He seems drunk."
Tzuyu quickly got off her bed, put her slippers on as she ran outside and opened the door, and a body fell on her.
"Mom, I'll take him home."
"Tzu---" Keeping her hand on Tzuyu's father's arm, her mother shook her head.
Defeated, her father nodded at Tzuyu as a sign for her to leave.
"Jungkook, come to your senses." She spoke loudly before groaning as she dragged him to his house.
"Tzuyu, don't you love me?" When they stood in front of Jungkook's house, Jungkook spoke, leaving Tzuyu's side, trembling as he did so.
"Shouldn't you consider my feelings? You could have told me you had depression. I would have tried to do better." The moments Tzuyu gave him clear signs flashed in her brain, and she chuckled bitterly.
"Jungkook, for you, I am always there by your side, so you stopped acknowledging me. Because it is an already won game." She uttered, feeling her heart stiffening.
"So, be there always. Huh? Please? Be there always." He stuttered, trying to walk but ending up almost falling before he balanced himself.
"Are you sure you love me? Aren't you just too used to me?" Tzuyu questioned when even she knew, Jungkook wasn't in his right mind to think and answer.
"I know we are toxic. Does that mean we don't love each other?" Jungkook asked, walking closer to the girl with his teary eyes.
"So, it was fake all along?" Jungkook questioned Tzuyu, tears leaving his eyes nonstop.
"That's not what I mean." She extended her hand to wipe his tears away, but he shoved her hands away.
"Doesn't matter!" He shouted.
"You know why?" His voice breaks while Tzuyu felt her eyes welling up.
"BECAUSE IT WAS FAKE LOVE! It was fake all along. Was it? WASN'T IT?!" On instinct, Tzuyu stepped back from Jungkook, which made Jungkook smirk in agony.
"It was. It is." Was all he said before he walked inside his house, leaving a broken mess outside, who just wanted to kill herself, but held herself back.
It was like she was trapped inside a cage, a cage she created and trapped her self in.
And he was outside the cage.
She tried to touch him, but he was too far away.
Instead of walking closer and saving her from her own self, he walked further away from her.
She watched him walk away.
Fade away.
"Afterall, it was just fake love, right?" Like a psychopath, she laughed maniacally till her stomach started throbbing, and tears started cascading down her face all over again.
After all, she was the disconsolate witching hour.
"It wasn't, you stupid. It isn't."
And he was the atrocious dawn.
