Tzuyu got off her car and slammed the door shut before she locked it and checked her reflection in the car's window then, with a smile on her face, she started to walk.
She noticed how the house was covered in darkness, causing her to shiver as she pressed the doorbell.
When no one answered, she knocked on the door, but still there was no answer, causing her to push the door a little, and it instantly opened.
Tzuyu made a note to self to scold her boyfriend for leaving the door open as she made her way inside his house, which was filled with darkness, no lights were on, nothing.
Scared, Tzuyu was about to turn on the flashlight of her mobile when something lightly touched her legs, causing her to scream and drop her phone on the cold floor.
She became extremely conscious of herself in the big dark hall as she yelled her boyfriend's name before bending down to pick her phone when all the lights turned on.
Lifting her head, she found herself staring at hundreds of her photos pasted on the wall in front of her before she turned to her right and saw her photos with her boyfriend, beautifully stuck in a heart shape on the wall.
She noticed how the floor was covered with petals, and the balloons were laying there beautifully.
Turning to her left, her breath hitched as she read the words written on the wall.
Soon, the voice of footsteps filled the room, causing Tzuyu to turn around and find the man she loves, walking towards her before he knelt on one knee and took a fancy box out from his pocket.
Dumbfoundedly, her eyes flickered to the beautiful ring before they flickered back to her boyfriend's handsome face.
"Will you marry me, Chou Tzuyu?"
A smile played on her lips as her mind went back in time and brought one of the deepest memory hidden in her heart back.
"How do you want me to propose to you?" Jungkook asked her, playing with Tzuyu's hair as he thought about their future together.
"That's for you to think." Jungkook groaned at her reply.
"What if I find a guy who loves me more than you?" She asked him, nonchalantly.
"Then marry him." Surprised by Jungkook's answer, she sat up on the bed and stared at him in disbelief.
"I will surely crash your wedding though, but if you find that guy, then try your best to marry him because I AM NOT LETTING YOU GET MARRIED TO SOMEONE ELSE THAT'S NOT ME!" Tzuyu laughed at his words before laying in his arms once again.
"But you know I don't think anyone can love you more than me." Jungkook expressed after a few minutes of silence, causing Tzuyu to look at him with affectionate eyes.
"Oh well, since we are doing this, then let me propose you." She smiled as he said those words and quickly got off the bed before kneeling on one knee.
"Will you marry me, Chou Tzuyu?" He asked her, extending his hand towards her as her body dashed out of the bed and stood in front of him.
"Why should I marry you?"
"Because I love you?" And that made Tzuyu laugh but all Tzuyu could see in his eyes, was her own reflection, nothing else. His gaze lacked something like warmth. Something like sincerity. His eyes were just filled with happiness he felt in the heat of the moment.
"Well then, yes, I will marry you, Jeon Jungkook." In a second, Jungkook stood up and lifted Tzuyu off the ground, twirling her around in his arms, his eyes staring up at her, and her eyes gazing down at him as the world around them swirled, and their laughter ranged in the whole room.
"Yes, I will marry you," Tzuyu answered, coming back to reality and staring at her boyfriend as he slowly puts the ring in her finger before standing up and wrapping his arms around her, embracing her.
With a big wide smile on her face, she closed her eyes and felt safe and secured as a tear slipped down her eyes.
It's been five years since she broke up with Jungkook.
He was going farther and farther away from her heart. The painful memories, the sadness, they were all leaving.
She was blocking him. Her heart was pushing him out and trying to forget him.
She was happy.
Without him.
