I struggle to find a good parking spot, behind and ahead of a variety of cars along the lot with their head and tail lights shining in my eyes as we are all crowded. I looked to the side as I wait for the line to progress in moving, and through my car window, I am amazed by the bright lights just radiating onto the dirt lot.

I also spot a Ferris wheel inside all of the lights and it looks pretty tall, one of the taller ones I've ever seen. I don't think I'd ever want to go on something that high up... I can just imagine myself falling to my death.

There is a sudden car honking from behind me and I jump back into the seat to see the car ahead already turning the corner. I almost press the gas pedal so quickly in fear of confronting due to road rage.

I wonder if Brian's already here, and if he is, I'm most likely the late one. I sigh, not having a choice but to wait for one of the car-directors to get to me and tell me where to park. I notice all those workers are wearing jackets and even looking at people already starting to walk to the dark festival are also wearing some. It may be pretty chilly tonight, and of course, I'm wearing tight black pants and a long Led Zeppelin shirt. Very stylistic but I fucking hate being cold. To keep my worries at bay, I've decided to wear a watch on my right wrist to cover the lettering.

It would have been ironic for Led Zeppelin to have played on the way here, but the station has been very mid and early 60s this fine night.

My eyes have been glancing at my watch every now and then as Cory had given me another curfew. He somehow believed me that I came home at the right time last Saturday night... this may have been the only time that I'm glad Cory was drinking last night.
This time I have to be careful, I can't make the same mistake as that night. Luckily Brian and I have been seeing each other publically and haven't brought it up.

I spot one of the workers outside my window so I quickly grab the handle and roll it down. The man clears his throat, "You can park in section B lane 4."

I nod and thank him before driving around an opposite corner and then finding the designated spot in the section between 2 cars and I turn into it slowly then park. I scruffle with my hair before rolling the window back up and unbuckling.

I pull out my phone and decide to text Brian first to avoid any useless searching.

You: I just parked where are you

Big poodle boy is typing...

Big poodle boy: FINALLY. I'm just outside the main entrance

You: okay- I'll be right there

Big poodle boy: Giving you 3 seconds 😍

You: WHAT

As I watch Brian type, I grin widely at his stupidity and nearly fall out of the car door trying to rush out and I shut the door closed and lock it up.

Big poodle boy: You made me cry thinking you weren't gonna show up and you stood me up😔

Big poodle boy: Therefore, I'm giving you 3 seconds before I go in without you. AND ORDER MY OWN MILKSHAKE.

You: fuck you

You: Stay there I'm coming!

I walk along different pathways, and luckily the section I'm parked in isn't too far because I actually believe Brian would go in without me. Pretty sure he didn't mean 3 seconds but hopefully moments.
Or hopefully, he was just joking in general.
