Brian slaps his hand roughly against my own in a desperate attempt to do this handshake correctly after we've been working on it all day, and a laughing fit erupts.

Of course, we haven't been just here sitting on his bed all day with our legs criss-cross and facing each other closely, of course, Chrissie was here this morning and I know she doesn't really tolerate me staying here anymore after that night she found me in their bed slump sleeping with Bri.

Of course, she didn't think much of it, maybe because she still doesn't know the truth.

I've tried not to be salty about it, but have subtle bring-ups, but Brian always says it will happen soon for him to break things off and we can be happy. But it's been a month since the first time he's even said that, a certain tone in his voice set-up for me to believe him. But there's always an excuse, usually about Chrissie's family.

He does say that there isn't anything romantic going on between the two of them. But all I want to do is know he's completely free to be only mine, and so I can get my mind-set off of the fact that I was in a relationship with Cory. I want to be happier.
Or I'm being selfish.
I'm happy enough.

But until that day of Brian speaking his feelings to her, I'll feel better... and about everything. Because I trust him.

His fingers lower into my palm to intertwine mine and he squeezes as he is stuck in laughter and uses his other hand to rest a hand on my cheek trying to get words out, "That's how it should go! Not clap clap boom clap but boom boom clap."

"But that hurts!" I whine jokingly, leaning into him. He lays a quick kiss on my nose as I lean my head against his shoulder looking up at his facial structure in awe. Especially from this angle, he looks good.

"I'm sorry, but we have to look fucking cool," Brian trails off, his eyes softening as he slowly leans his lips into mine, "We have to look like legends, Rog."

I glance down to see Pinny's nose wobbling up at us like he's talking in his own little language. I sit up before he could kiss me and I squeal in even more bliss and lift Pinny in my hands and up to my chest. "Like Pin-Pin."

Brian groans a little then falls down onto his back, "Actually, Pinny doesn't have hands. Therefore, he can not do legendary handshakes."

I smile, stroking his pins back. I look to Brian, now seeing this also cute baby closing his eyes happily with his arms spread out from him. And seeing this, I brace myself hanging onto Pinny then laying back slowly and rest my head on his arm and leaving Pinny on my chest and I throw my leg over Brian and cuddle close.

I yawn quietly, "Pinny doesn't need handshakes. Just a simple look from this godly hedgehog you know whether if he's your superior, aquatint, friend, or baby."

He finally turns his head to look at me as we both giggle hysterically before looking to Pinny. Brian takes him into his own hands and stands up to go put him back into his cage. Upset by this, I mumble, "How dare you lock up our son? You shall get revenge one day, fiend."

He gasps as he closes it shut, spinning around to me mouth gaped open in a manner that gives me the deep feeling he's about to really make up for it.

He slowly walks back toward the bed, "Revenge from you or from Pinny?"

"Which do you prefer?"
