i was surprised when i woke up and saw hoseok cooking. his back was against me and i could see his large folded wings.
i walked up to him and gently touched the feathers of his wings.

"i didn't know you can cook, hoseok." i said.

he didn't look at me and continued cooking.
"i tried learning. human food tastes good. it isn't necessary for us to eat but i like to eat more human food."

i sat down and waited for him to finish. as he walked towards me to place the food on the table, i couldn't smell the food at all. hoseok's scent was what invaded my nose.
"i know you're used to eating rice so i cooked something to partner with it."

i started eating heartily as hoseok sat down and ate as well.

-

my professor was talking about greek gods again. he isn't our professor in greek mythology but he obviously loves the mythology.

he showed us a picture. a greek god.
all the other students looked at him in awe.
i looked at it because i remember hoseok, who was at home right now.

if he isn't a guardian angel, maybe he could be a greek god.

when i got home, the studio-type apartment was already spotless clean.
"i'm home."

i saw hoseok cooking again. he seems to love cooking now.
"welcome back." i put my bag down and walked towards the kitchen and saw down.

"how was school?" he asked.

"tiresome and energy-draining as always."

hoseok placed the miso soup on the table. i heard my own stomach growl in hunger.
"you better eat now." he said. i grabbed a spoon and put rice on another bowl and ate.

we were quiet the whole time, maybe because i was tired and really hungry. i know hoseok understood and didn't ask me about it.

after taking a short rest, we both climbed up to bed.

i was surprised when hoseok lay down with me. he lay behind me.
my cheeks flushed as i felt him wrap his arms around my waist.
"w-what are you doing, hoseok?"

"you're very tired and i know you well enough to know that this will cause you nightmares. i don't know what it's called but i'm doing it."

i flushed an even deeper shade of red.
"cuddling?" i murmured.

"maybe." i heard hoseok whisper back.

i felt his warm hands clasp each other at my stomach. i felt his comforting wings wrap around us.

i know i won't have nightmares anymore.
