i've read somewhere in a book about celestial bodies and ethereal beings that falling in love with an angel is one of the most dangerous things to ever do.
during the six months hoseok wasn't with me, i thought of that.
i thought of backing away.
i thought of stopping my emotions.
but i just couldn't. i can't.
i knew hoseok doesn't deserve someone with a fucked up life. a broken girl like me.
a human and an angel can't fall in love with each other. they're just free falling into their inevitable death; inevitable punishment.
during those six months, i decided on something.
i saw hoseok standing, looking at the open windows. i went towards him and intertwined his fingers with mine. loose.
he seems to hesitate, still looking by the window. but after a moment, he wrapped his with mine. tighter.
i have decided.
"i will love you everyday for the rest of my life, hoseok. i will love you even more as months and years go by. i won't stop loving you, hoseok. i will never stop praising your eternal beauty until the time my aging body will come to rest and i can finally love you without having to fear anything anymore."
what will his answer be?
to that, maybe i will know. maybe soon.
maybe i will never know.

i came across the inspiration for this story on pinterest. it was on my phone and now i finally finished it. (bonus: i wrote this whole story in one night lol)
