We pulled up to a two story house in a middle class neighborhood. It was nothing spectacular, but it wasn't tiny either. The lawn was well taken care of, and there were flowers blooming in pots and on windowsills everywhere. It looked like a place where someone who spent the day baking cookies might live. It looked like a home.

So why were we here? There was no way this group of guys could live here. It definitely didn't seem big enough for all of them, anyway. There was nothing out of the ordinary about this house, and to me that was odd.

Jaehyun got out of the car and opened my door. I guess this really was our destination, then. Doyoung closed his door and made his way up the walkway to the front door, fumbling with the keys for just a second before unlocking it and holding it open for Jaehyun and me.

We stepped into the quaint foyer of the home, and the door slammed loudly behind us. I guess it was made of something more sturdy than I thought. It almost made me wonder if I was strong enough to open it again.

Almost as soon as the door shut footsteps were thundering down the stairs that were just to our right. The railing was a warm wood, that likes as if it had been worn down by generations of people going up and down, and the walls here were painted a green so muted it was almost khaki. There was even a little table beside the door for keys and mail. It was cozy, but I didn't have long to take it in.

"What the actual fuck did you do with her?" Johnny screamed as he pinned Jaehyun to the very door we had just stepped through, "Why are her knees bruised? Why does she have a fucking handprint on her throat? What the hell? You were supposed to watch her not fuck her!"

When he said that I could feel the rage bubbling up in my chest. Johnny was only mad because he thought Jaehyun and I had hooked up. He wasn't concerned about my safety. I had almost died tonight, and he didn't care about anything other than if I had been down on my knees for another man. I had almost died tonight. If it wasn't for Jaehyun I would be dead.

He pushed Jaehyun harder against the door, pressing into his throat with his forearm. Jaehyun hasn't made a single move to fight back, and when Doyoung tried to pull Johnny away Jaehyun stopped him, shooting a concerned look at me.

Jaehyun was just going to let Johnny strangle him because fighting back would hurt me.

I snapped.

I pushed myself under Johnny's arms, placing my body in between theirs and shoving his chest with all my might. Johnny stumbled backwards, and I heard Jaehyun gasp for air just as I felt the impact of the bannister dead center on my back as Johnny slammed against it.

"I've had enough of your bullshit!" I screamed at the stunned giant, "You don't get a say in what I do! Who are you to me? You've made your choice to be nothing! So why are you over reacting, huh? So what if we did hook up? You shouldn't care! And, for your information, I'm bruised because someone tried to kill me! If it wasn't for Jaehyun I'd be dead! So get yourself together or get the fuck out of my sight!"

When I was done screaming there was a palpable tension in the room. You could have reached out and touched it, the air felt so thick. I heard breathing from the landing above and looked up, seeing Taeyong, Lucas, and Jess standing there with stunned expressions on their faces. Soon, I heard another door slam, and Mark was there pulling me away from the scene and further into the first floor of the house.
