Chapter 3: give me your phone
Oliver's P.O.V
I groan getting out of bed. My Spotify playlist is on when hopping into the shower. Ten minutes Im out and getting ready for school. I decided to wear black leggings with a cream sweater and combat boots. Putting my hair in a braid and grabbing my backpack I was out.
"Hey youtube girl." my friend Kayla shouted. See Kayla I only spent most of my time through out classes with, so she knew about my fantasy with music. Although sometimes there would be awkward silence, and the fact that I don't always click well with her. Sometimes ill get annoyed randomly by her and automatically wish phoebe was here. Lets just say phoebe was my sister from a different bloodline, but by the way she usually spent all her time at my place it suggested otherwise.
"Hey." I said while rolling my eyes.
"New cover this week?" she questioned.
"Maybe." I replied. I knew by the way I said it, my impression already have off that I could care less.
The increasingly obnoxious bell tone rang and I'm off to english.
"Good morning class." Me.Jane greeted, getting the attention of the whole class. I mentally groaned, I greatly was displeased by this class itself. Of course I loved to write but the people I was forced to work with made it all the more difficult here, especially when this study wasn't entirely based of the free will of writing or just reading.
"For todays assignment we'll be watching a movie. I expect to see well written notes on it by the end of the period. We will work form there and I'll give you the book later in the week, it'll be Shakespeare's work titled Hamlet." she smiled
As the movie plays my self conscious zones out. It's not until my phone buzzes that I snap back into reality. I was alerted of a new notification.
New subscriber!
Hemmo96 is now following you!
Of course me being one to always pick up on the simplest things last minute...my new subscriber and why they seemed oddly familiar to me wouldn't hit me in the face until a good few days to come.
I was granted with some relief of boredom as the black and white movie played. Aw yay! I click on his profile, dear god he's so bea-
I swear I must have been born stupid for me not to recognize even the old picture on the profile by now. I guess I could blame the interruption of my thoughts on Ms.Jane's voice though. My attention was now transferred over to my teacher who stood there with a sigh and a straight face.
"Oliver Rose. I would have expected you to have listened to my rules. No phones out while the movie is running."
Shit I got caught. I never get caught, let alone am I ever on my phone during any class period as it was. This was going on my personal record I knew it.
"I know what your thinking oliver, your over reacting. You made a mistake and it can be learned from, you act as if your going to juvy." She explained calmly which settled my nerves down. "Now hand me your phone." I only nodded and obliged.
Thank god, at least I didn't get introu-
"Oh and don't think your getting off that easy. You'll have to see me after class."
Damn it.
