Pre-A/N: thought the above video suits this chapter pretty well. I just like it :)

Chapter 9. Meet my dog, we call her mum
Oliver's POV.
I've been listening to phoebe banter for the past 35 minutes about how Calums face was so squishy. Don't get me wrong I love those boys in a respective manner seeing as how I fancy their music, but I don't think I'd ever take it as far as too say that their face is 'so squishy I just want to cuddle it.' Unfortunately that was how phoebe had described it as being.
Thinking I was a genius, I'd gone along and just nodded along with the casual "mhmm, sure, cool story Phoeb's." lucky for me it worked. Only reason being, she was to engrossed in the subject of Calum for the moment. That would change quickly, I would presume the topic would change to Ashton and his giggling happiness that is just so infectious.
Coming up on the side street to the left of Hollywood Boulevard, you could hear the screaming girls. And mind you, it sounded so close yet it was still far away by a good few yards. My feet instinctively slowed down finally shutting up the dork I call my best friend; phoebe now turned to look at me as if I was lost.
"You right Olli?" Her tone was finally serious in the matter. My head nodded naturally, because in all reality I was alright. I had just been a bit star struck. I knew they were popular, 5 seconds of summer. But I hadn't expected to see things like this. So overwhelming.
"Good, because your getting pictures with me" and there was that determination in the eyes of this tiger.
"In your dreams Katy kat" I laughed and she only rolled her eyes dragging me across the low key streets.
"I only went to one Katy perry concert and that was 2 years ago! You should know because so dragged you along ya fairy" she defended with an innocent look after she finished the statement. You can bring up peterpan but not the fact that I used to like the idea of fairies when I was little.
"At least I believe in fairies" I crossed my arms ever so slightly as we now stood around the vast space filled with about a hundred girls at the most, one including phoebe and I guess myself in a sense.
Soon we were engaged in a fit of sticking our tongues out towards each other until some girl asked us what the hell we were even doing. Before I could speak up , the cats claws were out...but greatly they had been filed down. "It's called having fun and goofing off, something these boys who just so happen to be my sunshines have taught us."
I had to say I was quite proud of phoebe. She handled herself well and turned her response into something slightly positive somehow. Now if that was me, I would have bitten my tongue and gotten flustered. I may have been able to post myself singing and other such videos online, but that was always behind a screen where I could have practice.
Phoebe turned to face me. Clearly I had been lost in thought. "Hey...you know how Luke is the youngest by about a year and a few months from the others right? Well excluding Ashton since he's almost 18." Phoeb's blurted out my way like this was some great idea she'd just remembered.
I simply nodded. "Yeah I do. 16. And he likes to cuddle with Calum" I stated with a smile as if I'd just told her something all the fans didn't realize yet.
"We all know that Oliver. But your 16 in less than a few weeks, you know, November 21st?" Pfft as if I didn't know my own birthdate. Thanks ya noob.
"Thanks, I didn't know" I exhaled in awkward laughter for no legitament reason.
"Oh hush" her palm collided with my forearm daintily.
"Anyways what are you trying to get at ya noob?" My sighs were probably able to be heard throughout all the voices by now.
