Chapter 4: flight 37
Luke's pov.
While Ashton and I went off into hysterics and slapping each other in the faces here and there, we hadn't noticed Calums face red with laughter the whole ten minutes of bickering.
What's worse was Michael filming it.
"What's so funny!?" The both of us immediately snapped.
He took a minute to reply as he went silent staring at our pissed off expressions.
"I've got your passport right here Luke, no new to act like a little girl about it" he chuckled as his face went up in a squint.
'God damn it Hood, and to think I was about to die at the hands of Ashton's nagging and scolding complaints'
I mentally facepalmed and only shook my head while Ashton physically did and cocked his head to the side giving Calum a glare as if he'd tickle him to death.
...that's how tough he looked. Aha the thought of Ashton being that easy combined with the look he was giving calum only made it funnier and I couldn't stop my laugh from erupting.
"What the hell are you laughing at?" Ashton's neck turned stiffly toward me.
"Oh nothing, you just look so big and tough 'there' " I mocked sarcastically with a huge ass cocky grin.
He raised his eyebrows only to be failed by his tough guy persona, letting a smile spread across his giddy face.
"And this shall be hilarious as fuck to watch over and see all the reactions of the fans" Michael bluntly stated out of nowhere. His expression looked so straightforward too.
He had raised his eyes just above his phone screen as all our heads snapped in synch in his direction.
"Really dude?" Calum raised an eyebrow.
"You're the one who started this. So don't make me look like the bad guy baby face" Michael chuckled in a fit and calum only shrugged it off.
With that Michael had already begun to walk ahead towards security while I took the chance to snatch my passport out of Calums hands with a cocky remark.
That's when we heard it.
The warning.
" 'flight 37 to LA' "
"Shit" my words drowned out as my feet went into autopilot and my hands grasped my luggage.
"Hurry up idiots!" Michael yelled.
Ashton quickly caught up to pace with me as we were now in full sprint towards gate 37, which was inconveniently placed on the other side of where security had been.
I hadn't needed to look behind me to make sure Calum was still up to pace.
He had passed Ashton a second ago and turned to provoke him leading them both to get competitive and tumble over one another and stumble to the floor.Sadly for them I kept running at the sound of screaming girls and eventually was a foot behind Michael.
'Dear god, if your listening, please let Ashton lose his pants in sweet sweet revenge..oh and Calum get dragged off to Mexico in an arranged marriage...you know for Karma.'
"May I take your tickets?" Some all too cheery airline employee chattered as Michael and myself paid no attention and tossed the thin sheets of paper at her face.
" 'gate 37 will be closing momentarily" sounded over the intercom.
'Well damn, it looks like Calum Hood and Ashton Irwin won't be joining us this evening' of course I was only joking.
