The truck pulled over at the ground near the river bank. The two police jumped off of the truck. They walked on the wet soil.
There was a small house next to the river. It doesn't suit to be called as a house since the condition more as a hut. The roof was torn at some parts, and the wooden wall was rotted that replaced with the thin metal that will make a noise when you throw a pebble on it.
Wang Yibo pushed the door that seemed out of order. There were torn too at some part of the humid and wet wooden door.
"Ah Man?" Wang Yibo called the boy.
No one answered. The house was dark. There was no light, except from the sunlight that crept up about into the house through the open door and torn rooftop. Wang Yibo and Xiao Zhan stepped into the house. The sloshing sound could be heard when they are stepped on the watery floor due to the rain that dropped from the leaking roof.
"Ah Man? Are you here?" Xiao Zhan voiced out. He turned the Torchlight to light up the house.
"
"Wh-who...,?" A whimper voice came from the right corner of the house."Ah Man? Is that you,?" Xiao Zhan directed the Torchlight to where the voice came from. And there was a young boy curled up on the... So-called bed, shaking uncontrollably.
Xiao Zhan ran to the boy. Wang Yibo drew out his gun from its holster, aware of the unexpected moves that might be happened.
"Are you sick?" Asked Xiao Zhan, gently. He touched the boy's forehead.
"Agent Xiao! Be careful. He might be armed!" Warned Wang Yibo.
Xiao Zhan ignored him. Wang Yibo was unhappy being ignored. He kicked anything near his feet. Xiao Zhan and the boy looked at him.
"There was a rat!" Said Wang Yibo.
Xiao Zhan said nothing. He turned again to the boy.
"Do you mind to follow us to the police office to ask you some questions?" Asked the agent.
The boy shook his head violently and made a whimpering sound again.
"I-I don't want...! I... It's his fault. He insulted me! Don't bring me to jail!" The boy pleaded.
Xiao Zhan looked at the detective. Wang Yibo sighed and took out the handcuffs. He moved closer to the boy and twisted his hands to the back and secured them with the locked handcuffs.
They escorted the boy to the car and threw him into the back seat. The boy started to cry and beg, but the police didn't buy his sobs.

The warm sunlight shone the surface of Chaoyang District after the wet morning which received the downpour since last night. Sanlitun was a metropolis city in Chaoyang. There was a big church (Sorry, I really made it up. They are only my imagination. I don't know anything about this Chaoyang district look alike. So, please, consider me), located in the center of the city.
A young man with an adorable smile, dimples stabbed both sides of his cheeks, stood in front of the entrance of the Church. He bid the farewell to the children aged about 9 to 14 that exited the church. They said goodbye to the man and some of them hugged the man dearly. The man, indeed, seemed like a person who has an influence in the Church since some of the Sisters stood on both sides of him.
"Pastor! Do we did a great job?" Asked a girl to the man.
"Yes, yes! You all did a great job! The choir was beautiful ...!" Replied the man called Pastor.
"See you next week, Pastor!" A boy said.
"See you...!" Replied the pastor.
The children had dismissed, went back with their parents who just attended the Monthly Church Service in the area.
