— Kalyn's POV —
Day 17 of Ava being in a coma.
"Hi baby, I just went home to have a shave, I know how mad you'd be with me if I looked too hairy when you woke up." I sighed, kissing her forehead.
Her face was starting to heal a lot better.
Her cuts and bruises had slowly started to disappear but she had lost her colour. She was now so pale I couldn't recognise her.
"Kaley said to tell you she misses you. She's been coming to visit every few days. Always has a new joke for you." I laughed and looked down at her. My little sister had grown so fond of her. She told me Ava was like the big sister she never got.
"Whenever you're ready to wake up is fine with me baby, today, ten minutes, right now, anytime is fine." I sighed, grabbing her hand.
"Mum and dad have kept an eye on the apartment, they've been visiting a lot too. Your parents flew up last week but had to go back this week. I told them I'd ring them when you woke up again so they'll come back then. You've got a lot of people missing you babe."
"Kyle & King visit a lot. She's not doing so good babe, blames herself for it. I told her she was being an idiot but she just cries. She misses her best friend."
"All the girls have visited, your room is filled with flowers they've all bought. Gonna be very pretty for when you wake up soon. Gonna smell so nice."
"I brought some clothes up today for you, tried to match the outfits but I don't think it worked out for me. Please don't get mad at me when you have to wear a pink shirt with a orange skirt out of here." I laughed, she'd be so mad at me if she had to.
"I've been brushing your hair, was looking a little wild the first day so mum taught me how to brush it nicely, might give up footy and become a hair dresser."
"The guys from footy have all visited, brought some flowers for you, Mikey even brought some balloons. They told me to take as much time off training as I need to. I don't wanna sound selfish but I'm really missing it. I know you're going through this and I need to stay here, but I'm craving footy. I feel like it's my only way to get this out of my system."
"I'm waiting for the day you actually talk back to me when I'm here like this with you. God I miss you so much."
