Chapter 16

Kio^^^

It was finally time that me and Alex went to her house we were in the car on our way. My phone kept going off. 

"Ugh Troy keeps texting me and stuff." I groaned. 

"You better not respond... he cheated on you soph! You deserve way better... like.. Kio!" She said. I sighed. 

"Yeah but me and Kio barely even know each other I mean I think we were science partners like once." I said. She rolled her eyes. 

"Sophi you've dated 2 guys in your WHOLE life.... the first was was a complete asshole and the second one... Troy... was and even bigger asshole. You need to explore more.. you never know Kio might be the one.. and obviously he thinks you're cute because he pretty much asked you out so give him a chance please.." she said. I sighed again. She was right.

"You're right Alex... I just the feelings I had for Troy don't just go away.. I mean he was my first love." I said. My eyes started to water. We pulled in her driveway. She parked and looked at me. 

"Hey.. you deserve so much better then that dick and you crying is letting him win... don't waste your tears on him." She said. She reached over and hugged me. I hugged her back and wiped my eyes. "Now.. lets go get you all pretty for Kio." She smiled. I smiled back and we headed inside. Alex's parents were pretty rich but with being rich they were gone at all times. We walked upstairs to her room. She made a bee line for her closet and started stacking clothes. I rolled my eyes and laughed... that would be Alex. She shoved the variety of clothes into my hands and pushed me into the bathroom. I set them down. A pair of ripped skinny jeans and a yellow crop top caught my eye and I shimmied on the jeans and pulled the shirt over my head. It was cute but simple. I walked out. 

"Omg that is sooooo cute but simple at the same time...perfect!" She said she dragged me over and put some makeup on me then curled my hair. 

"All done!" She squealed. I looked in the mirror. She had just done a very natural look, and my hair was in loose curls. I smiled. 

"It looks perfect Alex thank you." I said. I hugged her. Then we walked downstairs and to her car. As we were driving I became nervous. Then my phone dinged. 

Kio: Hey I just wanted to make sure that you're still coming😊 

Sophie: ahah yea I'm omw now ❤️❤️

Kio: 😂 okay see you there

Sophi: kk🥺🥺

Kio: oh btw some of the boys are coming to so if you wanna bring one of your girls idc. 

Sophi: oh.. okay I'll bring Alex. 

Kio: okay😎

"Is that Kio your texting?" She asked peering over at my phone. 

"Yeah... your coming with me. He said some of the boys are gonna be there so I could bring one of my girls so I choose you." I said with a laugh. She chuckled. We pulled up and suddenly I got nervous. 

"It's gonna be fine Soph... you're beautiful, smart, and really nice. He will. Love. You." She said. I smiled at her words. We both got out and walked inside the diner. I heard the boys laughing and recognized one I looked up and saw Troy with this blonde chick on his lap. I gasped and ran to the bathroom. Alex ran after me. 

"Ohmygosh." I mumbled. Tears brimmed my eyes. How dare he? Wait was this a set up? 

"Hey hey.. Sophi calm down." She said rubbing my shoulders. "You need to go out there and show him you're strong." 

"Does this look strong Alex!?" I said pointing to my now mascara stained face. "I-I can't just go out there. I'm a mess. He's with the g-girl he cheated with probably... I can't face that." I said while crying. 

"Stop it Sophi. He does not deserve your tears... show him you don't care and go out there." She said getting a tissue and patting it on my under eyes. 

"But I do care it hurts Alex." I said sadly. She looked me in the eye. Then her face went soft and she hugged me. 

"If you really don't wanna go we can leave." She said giving me a sad smile. I nodded and we walked out of the bathroom and to the car. 

"SOPHI! Over here!" I heard a boy yell. I stopped and didn't move. Maybe they won't see me if I stand very still. "Soph!" He yelled again. I sighed and turned towards them. Kio was walking towards me. 

"Hey where are you goin?" He said. 

"Oh um... I just wasn't feeling well. I might just head ho-" 

"Probably because you haven't eaten! Come on!" He said pulling me towards the table. I saw Alex walking behind me. My heart rate sped up. We got to the table and they all stopped talking. I looked at Troy and our eyes met for the slightest second before I looked away. He gave me a burger and fries with a shake. 

"Thank you." I mumbled. 

"Hey guys this is Sophi... Sophi these are the guys." Kio said. I smiled at them and waved. Alex sat down next to me and stole a couple fries. The guys went back to talking and I took a bite of my burger. My phone buzzed at I saw troys name pop up. I looked up at him and he was surly on his phone. I read the text, 

Troy: can we talk pls?

I rolled my eyes and put my phone down. I looked at him. 'Please' he mouthed. I shook my head and started a conversation with Alex. 

"Hey guys me and Sophi are gonna go talk we will be right back." Troy said. I looked up and he was standing behind me and grabbed my arm. 

"What? No! Troy stop it." I said. He kept pulling me to outside. I tried pulling away but it was no use. He brought me to the side of the building. Then pushed me up against the wall. "What do you want?!" I yelled in his face. 

"Soph you need to let me explain please." He said. I scoffed.

"NO! You cheated on me Troy! There's no explanation needed to be said. It's done. We are over. You don't even love me." I said. Tears filled my eyes again. 

"Sophi I just- I have no excuse okay I was being stupid okay I just was being a asshole." 

"Yeah." I scoffed. 

"But I realized I do love you Sophi. I didn't know what I lost until I lost it okay I already miss you." 

"Yeah? Say that to the blonde that was all over you when I walked in." 

"She wouldn't leave me alone. I was telling her to stop." he said. 

"Troy I cant. You lied and cheated."  I said pushing him away. I walked inside and grabbed Alex. "Kio I have to leave I'm sorry.. I-I'll text you or something." 

"Oh okay." He said. I smiled and Alex and me walked to the car. I saw Troy still in the same spot. He looked like he was crying. I sighed and got in the car. Then came the water works. 

Hey guysss Ik this is a crappy chapter I just wanted to get one out. Next will me better. And we are almost at 4K READSSSSS omg ily guys so muchhhh🥺🥺🥺 today I watched like 5 Chucky movies lol😂😂 but thanks for reading and as always.
