Jeno leans back on the playset, stretching his arms. "Jaemin-ah..."

"Mhm?" It was almost midnight and the two boys were happily bundled in large jackets and eating some biscuits that Jaemin had made earlier that day.

Jeno turns to him, smiling softly. "Have you ever seen a waterfall?"

"No...why?" Jaemin raises an eyebrow at the older male, who just smiled wider.

"Come on. I wanna show you something." He stands, reaching his hand out to help the other boy up as well. He leads him into the woods and through a trail, the sound of running water getting louder and louder.

Winter break had just started and now the two boys had all the time in the world to explore the city and be together. Christmas was next week and both Jeno and Jaemin were excited. The holidays always excited them, probably more now than as kids.

"Jeno seriously, how much longer do we need to walk? My hands are getting cold."

"Just a bit farther, come on." The black haired boy smiles and grabs Jaemin's hand in promise that it would stay warm. Jaemin doesn't say anything more and just looks down to hide his blush. Stupid Jeno doing these things to him.

"Hear that?" Jeno stops walking and points a clearing in the woods where the strong sound of running water can be heard. "I found it a couple months ago and I'll sometimes come here when I need to think." He continues towards the small waterfall, the bright blue liquid falling into a crystal clear pool at the boys' feet.

"It's beautiful." Jaemin gazes around the little bubble of magic, smiling softly as the mist from the crashing water lands on his jacket. The water was glowing in the moonlight, the stars reflecting off the ripples, making it look like it sparkled. The water swirled and shifted, creating beautiful mosaics that were ever changing with the tide. The lily pads swam around, as if to run away from the falling water. The pool was wider than five feet, and no deeper than three. If you looked close enough, you could see the tiny fish at the bottom, going about their lives, swimming their way through their life. They lived in a little heaven, being able to live under the stars and swim with the moon.

"It's calming, isn't it.."

Jaemin nods. "Very." He crouches down and dips his hand in the water. For a cold winter night, the water was unnaturally warm. It made him laugh. A weight on his back makes him lose his balance, almost falling in the water. "Jeno!"

"What~"

"Get off me! I'm gonna fall!"

"No you aren't." Jeno smirks and stands, picking up Jaemin in the process. "I got you."

"Jesus Christ, I can't with you." But Jeno only smiles and kisses Jaemin's cheek, making him burn up.

"Now, you already half-rejected me once. But I'm gonna ask you again." Jeno's face suddenly turns serious, making Jaemin internally panic.

"O...kay...?"

"Will you, Na Jaemin, please for the love of god, be my boyfriend."

Jaemin quickly covers his face and hides it inside the crook of Jeno's neck, mumbling something he couldn't understand.

"I can't hear you~"

"I said yes."

Jeno smiles widely, his eyes turning into crescents, practically sparkling with happiness. "What'd you say?"

"You heard me." Was all he got in return, Jaemin's deep voice rumbling against his neck.

"No I didn't~"

Jaemin takes his extremely red face away from Jeno's neck, glaring up at the boy. "Yes you di-" But he couldn't finish his sentence thanks to Jeno capturing his lips. Jeno turns the boy in his arms, so that he was holding him up from his thighs, Jaemin's legs locked around his waist.

The older boy pulls away smiling. "You know I love you right?"

Jaemin nods and goes back to hiding in Jeno's neck, mumbling softly, "I love you too."

"Awww you're so cute when you're embarrassed baby. Now let's head back home." Jeno smiles when he hears a content sigh escape Jaemin's mouth.

Not once did Jaemin think he would fall in love with the rich and stupid Lee Jeno, yet here he was. Life was always full of surprises.

∆Hey guys, it's been a hot minute since I've updated and I know this is an actually reallyyy shitty chapter and I'm sorry. I've been busy trying to get my OT7 Dream book started, along with Slopes and Serenade so this has been at the bottom of my list. And I'm sorry the chapter is so short, but it's gonna be soft for a lil bit and then you all will hate me. But don't blame me, y'all chose 'Jester' so 0_0 lmao....yeah it won't be fun.
