chapter 9|| careful

"Felix, you have to go to school sweetie." His mother pulled the cover making him.

"My life is over." He cried dramatically making her roll her eyes.

"Felix whatever's going on is not the end of the world."

"You don't understand," he pouted. "It is the end of the world, my world."

"Well whatever is going on you're going to have to face it eventually," she patted his back. "Might as well get it over with."

"You're right," Felix sighed. "But today is not that day." He hide under his blanket.

"Fine," his mother said heading for the door. "You're going tomorrow, understand?" The boy groaned in response. "Kids these days." She muttered with an eye roll before leaving the room and a sulky Felix.

"My life's over." He moaned in his pillow.

Meanwhile at school

Eric walked hand and hand with his boyfriend juyeon, a friend etched into his face. "Hey," juyeon lifted his chin. "Cheer up. I'm sure Felix will come around, he can't stay mad forever." Eric sighed.

"You don't know that." He mumbled sadly. Juyeon squeezed his hand gently giving him a comforting smile.

"Eric!" A voice called out to him.

He stopped and turned to the voice. It was lee Minho.

"Eric," the panting older stopped in front of the couple. "Hey, um...have you seen Felix around?" Minho asked nervously.

"Um," Eric looked at juyeon for help. "He wasn't feeling well today so," juyeon trailed off.

"Ah, I see." Minho nodded. "Can you tell him I need to talk to him?" Eric modded. "Of course." Minho sent him a smile before leaving.

"This is so not going the way I planned." Eric groaned.

"What exactly did you plan?" Juyeon looked at him curiously.

"That my best friend would finally get swept off his feet and ride into the sunset with his prince charming." He shrugged.

Juyeon rolled his eyes. "Life isn't a fairy tale youngjae."

"I know, I just wanted to create one for my best friend., Does that make a bad person?" Eric looked up at his boyfriend.

"You're not a bad person youngjae, you did a bad thing but your intentions were good." He pat his head.

The bell rang signaling the start of classes. The two boys said there goodbyes and headed their separate ways.

Felix looked at the ceiling, he had no idea what time it was or how long he's stayed in bed but he was starting to get hungry.

"Guess I'll cook something." Felix groaned getting out of bed for the first time all day.

He walked into the kitchen immediately heading For the refrigerator.

"My mom forgot to go shopping." Felix face palmed. He looked at the clock hanging on the wall. 4:15.

"Wow I really have been in bed all day, guess I'll order some take out."

Felix decided to order a pizza. He had aleast a half an hour to kill before his pizza arrived so he decided to turn his phone back on.

He rolled his eyes he didn't feel like talking to Eric right now and he wasn't sure when he'd be ready to again. Honestly he wasn't mad at Eric he was just disappointed, he felt betrayed. He never would have thought that Eric would do this to him.

He clicked on the messages.

Felix was freaking out he had no idea how to handle talking or texting in this case, the boys who probably hated his guts by now. What the hell am I going to say? He ruffled his hair.

He decided to open Eric's messages first.

Felix sighed of course he was going to forgive Eric he's his best friend, he just can't forgive him right now he needs a little time. Felix looked at the other messages nervously he has no idea what is being said inside of them.

He thumb hovered over Hyunjin's messages. Just as he was going to open them the door bell rang.

Felix left his phone on the coffee table and made his way towards the door. When he opened it his heart almost fell out of his chest. Of all the pizza delivery guys in the world it just had to be him, the world truly was against Felix because standing at the door was none other than.....

Another cliffhanger ;)
