Felix woke up feeling nothing but dread and anxiety. He sighed getting out of his bed and going to shower, his mind kept creating terrible scenarios of what the day would be like.
He exited the shower quickly drying his hair before looking for an outfit for the day. After he was done getting dressed he went downstairs hoping to have the longest breakfast of his life as a stall for time.
"Morning mom." He said as he took a seat at the table. "What's for breakfast?" He asked not seeing anything on the table. "Sorry sweetie I've got a meeting in 20 so you'll have to eat cereal for breakfast." She said as she rushed to grab her things before kissing her son goodbye wishing him a good day. "This will be anything but good." He muttered to himself as he ate his cereal.
He thought about just skipping seeing as his mother left the house before him but he knew she would call his teachers to make sure he went to school. He sighed grabbing his bag and making his way out the door.
The walk to school felt fast, far too fast for his liking maybe it was because he was alone or maybe it's because he was stuck in his own head, whatever the case he was frozen at the school's entrance.
"Felix?" The boy snapped out of his thoughts. Anxiety sat in as he wasn't sure who called his name and definitely didn't want to turn around to find out. "Earth to lee Felix." He heard the girl's voice and relaxed taking a deep breath he turned around to face the girl.
It was hwang yeji, hwang Hyunjin's twin sister aka one of the most popular girls in school. What could she possibly want with a nobody like Felix?
"Yes?" He asked nervously. Yeji noticed his nervousness and gave him a bright beautiful smile. "Um you're kind of blocking the entrance." She said politely. "Oh sorry." He blushed with embarrassment giving a small now. She nodded making her way through the entrance before coming to a stop. "Also," she spoke making Felix look at her again.
"Hyunjin is looking for you," she could see the panic on his face. "If you don't want him to find you, you might wanna leave I left him in the car with dad." She laughed as she thought about the lecture her dad was giving hyunjin about how important social appearance is.
"Thanks I better get to class." He ran off stopping at his locker where he saw Eric standing with juyeon. He rolled his eyes before going to stand in front of his locker.
"Hey felix," Eric tried to talk to Felix but said boy just ignores him. "Look I know you're still mad at but hear me out for a second." Felix glared at him.
"Why should I" he sighed angrily. "I'm sorry Felix I really am, I was only trying to help—"
"Help?! How did you think this was going to help!" Felix turned to tell at him.
"Because you were going to be sad and I couldn't see you like that any longer!" Eric was starting to get upset also yelling.
"Who are you to decide what's good for me?!!!" At this point they were starting just draw attention from the other students by the lockers, but the two boys were so caught up in their yelling they didn't notice the on lookers.
"It's my opinion! I just want what's best for you!!" Eric and Felix were both glaring at each other.
"Do you have any idea how much trouble you caused?!!"
"Um guys.. " juyeon said as he noticed a crowd starting to gather around the boys.
"Again I was only trying to help!"
"Guys.."
"Oh, you sure helped alot thanks!!"
"Guys!" Juyeon yelled at the two.
"What?!!" The both turned to face juyeon, who looked out at the crowd of students who were watching the boys argue. Both Felix and Eric were embarrassed.
"Um nothing to see here people," juyeon said ushering the crowd away from the two best friends. "Just two friends practicing for a play." The older laughed awkwardly.
Felix sighed his anger subsiding. Eric looked at him feeling tears form in his eyes. "I really am sorry Felix I didn't think about what would happen if they got the letters." He wiped his eyes.
Felix sighed. "I know you weren't trying to hurt me Er," he looked at the boy. "But you still did." Eric was now full on crying causing juyeon to rub his back comfortingly.
"However," Felix looked at him. "Even though I'm still mad at you and may never forgive you for this. I do want my best friend with me so I can get through this." He grabbed Eric hugging him tightly.
Eric started sobbing as he held Felix. "I'm so sorry." He kepting repeating. The two boys honestly couldn't go a day without each other.
Juyeon smiled at the boys Happy that the were making up. The two pulled away wiping their eyes as they heard the bell ring.
"I guess we should head to class." Felix said smiling at Eric who returned it with his own.
Suddenly Eric remembered something. "Will you be ok don't you have a class with Jisung?" Eric asked worried.
"Shit, I totally forgot." Felix was beginning to panic again.
"First you need to calm down okay." Juyeon told the younger worried he might have a panic attack.
Felix did as juyeon said. "What am I going to do, I can't be in the same room with him how am I suppose to sit next to him?" Felix said sadly.
"I might have an idea." Juyeon smirked.
"Idea?" Eric and Felix looked at him.
"Yeah just leave it to me." The older rushed off.
"This probably won't go well." Eric said to his best friend sympathetically.
"What do you think he's going to do?" Felix asked.
"Don't know, but it probably won't go the way he wants knowing juyeon hyung." The both laughed.
