Y/N POV
Today is the day. I finally get to see my boyfriend after 2 months of tour. Johnny toured with Hayden and Kenzie through America and I decided to go and visit him in New York.
They are only two people who know about my surprise which are Lauren and Kenzie. Hopefully they didn't say anything to Johnny.
I am currently at the airport waiting for the Uber who brings me to the venue. As soon as I saw him I started to get nervous. During the whole ride I listened to his music and texted Lauren and Kenzie to make sure everything is how we planned it.
We planned that as soon as I arrived at the venue, I hide to one of the backstage rooms and get ready for the show. John and I wrote a song together called "This love". We planned that we start to play this song instead of "what if".
I got to the venue and was immediately greeted by Lauren who brought me to the back entrance and to the room where I should be staying. I get more nervous with every second. What if he doesn't want to see me? What if he takes this tour as a chance to take a break from me? From our relationship.
I got snapped out of my thoughts by a knock on the door. Lauren entered and handed me my mic. " 4 minutes till the show starts. Are you excited" Lauren asks. "Terrified to be honest. What if he doesn't want to see me Lauren?" I said as I slowly started to panic. "Calm down Y/N, trust me he's gonna freak out when he sees you. He loves you and I'm honestly glade you're here. He's always talking about you and about how much he misses you. I can't hear it anymore" Lauren said as she chuckled a little at the last part. " I need to go. I text you when it's time." She said leaving the room. Hopefully this goes well.
*time skip to the performance*
I got a text from Lauren saying that I have one minute till our song starts to play. At this moment I was shaking. I was next to the stage and watched Johnny living his dream. He looks so happy when he's on stage.
It was time. The melody of our song starts to play and you can clearly see confusion in Johns face. I looked a last time at Lauren who gave me a smile and two thumbs up.
I walked on stage and started to sing the lyrics. Johnny looked at me and I could clearly see the joy in his eyes and are there tears?
I was lost in my thoughts for a moment until I felt a soft touch on my hand. We walked to the middle of the stage where he previously was and began to sing the Chorus. All we could hear was screaming and shouting. They went wild. Soon enough Johns part was up and the crowd screamed even louder.
As soon as the song ends Johnny engulfed me in a hug and whispered in my ear" I missed you so much". " I missed you too" was all I could say before the pair of lips I craved for 2 months now landed on mine. The crowed went even louder if that was even possible and I just felt so happy in this moment. I looked over to the side of the stage where Lauren, Hayden and Kenzie were and let me tell you they never smiled that wide in their life. Me neither to be honest.
As it was the last song of the show we all thanked the crowed for coming and went to the hotel they were staying at. Since I knew I could stay at Johns hotel room, and he would probably insist my staying, I decided to not get one. We spend the whole night just cuddling, talking and enjoying each others presence.
Maybe next time I can join him on tour.
