Anna's POV
So today is our 10th anniversary. John surprised me with a trip to Greece and we just arrived at our cottage for the next few weeks.
We settled everything down and already went to explore the city and get a felling where everything is. We had a romantic movie night that day and everything seemed to be perfect. Until the next day.
I went out to get us some groceries for breakfast and we'll everything went smoothly there. I came back with my bags and was ready to start making the food until I opened the door and saw my boyfriend sitting on the kitchen counter in complete fear. He had a strainer on top of his head and a frying pan and a whisk in his other hand. I really tried my best to not laugh at the sight in front of me. And I might as well quickly failed at it. I was full on laughing now still not knowing why he was so terrified until I saw him looking at the ground in front of him and back up to me.
Looking at the spot he was so terrified of I saw a little yellow snake minding it's own business. I picked it up and looked at it. It was so tiny and cute. John looked at me disgusted. I came a bit closer to him but he immediately scooped back the counter. " Babe please can we keep it. Look ist so cute." I said mocking him knowing that he would kick it out immediately.
"Are you nuts?! I'm not letting such a ThInG in my house. Ever. Rather I'm gonna move out than finding something like that somewhere near me." He said disgusted.
" But look how cute it is. Come on it's not like a big as anaconda that could kill you in your sleep"
" WE ARE NOT GETTING A SNAKE! And nw please bring this pice of devils work out of my sight" he said. He can have such an attitude sometimes.
" Fine but just because I love you" I said bringing it outside and letting it free in the woods near the resort we are staying.
" This thing better be not coming back again"
" Bit John I have a question for you"
" Shoot babe"
" What was the strainer and the whisk for? J mean I kinda get the frying pan but the whis and the strainer?"
" Well I had to work with the things I had."
I face palmed myself.
" It was a baby snake John"
" A man gotta do what a man gotta do"

Well the rest of our vacation went pretty well by and the snake luckily never came back to us. I think he scared it away.
