Lacy's POV So Today is our senior prom and I'm gonna attend it with my best friend Johnny. We arrived pretty late since our parents insisted to take a million pictures of us. As we got into our gym hall we were pretty amazed. I mean I knew what it would look like before since I was in the committee but it's still something else to see it with all the people and the music. Not gonna lie I'm actually kinda proud of us for planning it like this. We got to our white carpet where we took pictures of us and our dates arriving the prom. " Aww you two look so cute together. Can you like start dating already?" Maya my best friend and also the photographer of tonight asked us while taking the pictures. " Maya were just good friends. And I think that's enough pictures, you lowkey took more than my parents and I thought that was impossible" I said giggling and hugging her. We went on to our table to find our seats. " Babe I gotta go back stage for sound check. I'll be with you in a minute" John said leaving me but soon enough my two other best friends Luna and Charlie joined me with there dates. Yeah John has to go since he's one of the musical acts tonight. He insisted though. " Wait did Johnny just called you babe?" Luna asked surprised. " Yeah I think so" I said confused but shrugged it of. " Anyways who wants to dance" Charlie asked. " ME" the girls said while the boys just looked at each other. We dragged them into the dance floor while Johnny came on stage to do the sound check. " But Lacy can I ask you something?" " Yeah sure. What's up Charlie?" " Would you ever consider dating Johnny? I mean you two are perfect fore each other" " Yeah I would. Well honestly I have a slight crush on him but he doesn't like me for sure. I man just look at me. How would he ever like someone like me. So fat, ugly and disgusting" " You my dear need to shut up immediately or else I'm gonna kick you in your beautiful butt. And I would not recommend that these heels can hurt. You are the definition of perfection. He would be so dumb for not liking you. But to get you on other thoughts what are you planning for on your birthday tomorrow?" Luna said. " Well I thought about spending the day with my best friends and go shopping?" I said not exactly knowing what to do. I don't really want to celebrate that much. To me it's just not really important. " okay yeah why not" Luna said. * a few hours later. 11:55pm* We had a lot of fun till now. We danced, we ate and we laughed. But now it's Johnnys turn to shine on stage. He performed some songs already. " Hey guys I hope you have fun so far? Well I wrote this next song for a special person here tonight so I hope you like it. It's called everything"
" Everything, I would give everything baby, Cause right now you're driving me crazy, Tel me you wanna be with me, Oh yeah" And with that he came down into the crowd and towards me. " You know you are on other kind I just wanna make you mine" he sang holding my hand " I would give everything baby, everything, everything trust me" The music continued but he stopped singing. He went down on one knee in front of everyone. The clock had 12pm. Midnight. The time of our prom and my birthday. " Lacy I would give everything for you to be my girlfriend. So please would you make me to the luckiest and happiest man in this school and be my girlfriend?" He pulled out a box with a golden bracelet. It had a little engraving that said everything. My eyes start to water and I could barely choke the word yes out of my mouth. He came up and hugged me. Everyone around us started to cheer and all we heard was " Awww" and "Oww". Johnny looked me in the eyes and leaned in to kiss me. As our lips connected, the fireworks began. " You have no idea how long I wanted to do this." He said kissing me on the forehead. " same" I said and we watched the fireworks while hugging.
