Our next meeting in the mess hall was an equally awkward one. Instead of congregating for a discussion on mass murdering children, we sit around eating dinner.

Tonight's dinner consisted of microwaved lasagna. Sooner or later, I'm gonna get sick of space frozen, pre-packaged, soggy-ass, food. But until that day comes, I swallow the lump of tomato, cheese, and bread.

"Is nobody gonna say anything?" Annabeth mumbles.

Percy looks at her, concerned "I'm sorry, Annabeth.."  he apologizes.

The rest of the crew and passengers are dead silent. I sit with the rest of the Apollo kids as we pick at our plates. The lasagna suddenly tasted even more stale.

It was so silent you could've heard a cockroach scuttle across the floor. Which isn't possible cause there are no cockroaches in space, but you get the point.

The rest of us sat wordlessly when the sudden chatter of the pilots broke the solemn aura. Everyone turned their heads immediately towards the source of noise. The look on the kids faces when they entered to a room of staring demigods was hilarious.

Their laughter quieted and fumbled their way to their respective seats. After that, no more chatter was heard. One of them spoke up, a child of Athena, "The uhm.. ship is docked on a the nearest planet. We need to send a small squad of two maybe to gather more supplies and fuel."

"OK. We'll restock and then continue on our way to the labyrinth. Any objections?" Chiron announced from a separate table.

Nobody spoke up.

"Any volunteers for the offshore expedition?" He continued.

I raise my hand. "Just in case my partner gets injured, I'm here to help."

Percy raises his hand as well. "With a partner like Will, we'll make this quick."

The only conversation ended, and dinner ended shortly afterwards. It was the Demeter children's turn to wash the dishes.

I hand in my plates and turn to talk to Percy, who was arguing with Annabeth. As I come near, Percy notices and escapes the heated discussion. Annabeth has a look of irritation, but leaves the room.

"Thanks for saving me back there," Percy sighs.

"I don't think your completely out of the woods yet." I reply.

"Annabeth just.. doesn't like our course of action," he explains.

"Do the rest of the crew know?" I ask.

He thinks for a moment. "They should. I assigned Grover to make an announcement. There's probably going to be more disagreement, but what can you do? I needed this short stop away from the ship, just to get a breather."

"About that. Can we talk?" I request.

His face falls, "Not you too.."

"It's juts for a little bit. I promise."

He waits.

"Nico isn't a problem that the police can just solve. Sooner or later, they'll turn to us for help, with or without a permit. I think, if anything, we should hold on the prophecy. Keep everyone prepared for his next attack," I say.

"We don't know when his next attack is going to be though. And we can't wait when addressing our current prophecy. We have the coordinates, we're all ready to go. I haven't told anybody this, yet.. but you would understand. Some of the crew who explored the labyrinth never returned."

"Well yeah, they got attacked on the way. It happens much to often to be a surprise now.."

"No, they've gotten lost in the labyrinth. This is even more of a reason to take action."

"As much as it hurts to admit it, they're probably dead! So we need to prevent more deaths, by stopping Nico. We can talk to him, we can explain-" my voice began to rise.

"The kid has gone off the deep end! Maybe I didn't know him as well as you, but no amount of talking is going to do shit." He countered.

"Damn right you didn't know him! He's just a kid. He's hurt and confused. If we can put him back on the right path, I guarantee that he would be a successful crew mate."

"There's no way that the rest of the crew would want the help of a mass murderer, Will. I don't know why Annabeth and you are both so adamant about this!" he hissed.

"It's because Annabeth see's Nico as a equal."

"What make you think I don't?" he retorts.

"You're jealous of him." I counter.

"What? Do you hear yourself Will? Now you're just pulling things out your ass."

"Annabeth and Nico were real chummy, and you're jealous."

"So now your a child of Aphrodite? What makes your think I would care about something like that?"

Passerby's begin noticing the commotion. Seeing that it was Percy talking, they shy away and continue to walk by.

I take in a sharp inhale before sighing. "Fine, have it your way. We leave the ship at moon rise to restock."

His brow furrows, but he compromises, looking guilty for a few moments.

I turn away and make my way to the med bay to make preparations for tomorrows pit stop. I doubt that anything major would happen, but better to be safe than sorry.

Hearing the automatic doors soft click in place sent a wave of relaxation over me. The clinic was my haven. The smell of disinfecting spray and the cleanliness made me feel a sense of calm.

I make my way past the hospital cots, and sit down at the front desk but more like back desk since it was positioned at the end of the room. I grab a pouch off of the nearby coat rack  and stuff in a couple of bandages and various ointments. I also opened the drawer and gathered the change, accumulating a total of 20 étoile. *

Then looking back I also tossed in some painkillers. I slung the bag over my shoulder and exited the medic bay.

On my way to the Apollo children cabin, I look out one of the ships windows, which lined the walls exactly six tiles apart. The planet we were at was a soft blue color. I've never seen it before, but then again I don't study space very often.

I continue down the hall passing by other crew mates going to their destinations. Everything was slathered in a thick layer of tension. From the uncertainty of the current situation, to the mass killings that happen overnight.

Finally reaching the  entrance to the sleeping chambers, I press my finger against the identification pad and walk in when the door fizzes open.

I needed a good nights sleep, cause I had no idea what was about to happen tomorrow.
