I awake to the ship's intercom blasting the Thursday morning tunes. "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" by Wham! blasted through every persons cabins, inevitably waking them up. Whoever thought it would be a great idea to play 80's songs early in the morning should seriously reconsider their life choices.

I groan and sit up. The rest of my cabin mates were doing the same, although some of them were already up, coming back from their night shift at the clinic.

I had went to bed early last night, yet I couldn't get much sleep. A gut wrenching feeling kept me thinking all night. Going to sleep without changing out was probably also a contributing factor.

I tug off the wrinkled shirt I wore the day before and toss it into the laundry basket. The cabins weren't separated by gender, but I try not to think too hard about it, seeing as everyone in here were technically siblings. Out of politeness, people just avert their eyes.

I tug on a white tank top and keep the baggy black cargo pants on. Over my top I layer on a space jacket, special lightweight suits designed to handle the vacuum of space so my heart doesn't pop. It's also insulated.  I strap on my watch, and grab the bag I prepared the night before.

The planet we landed on had atmosphere, so I wasn't too worried. Outside the cabin, Percy waited dressing in similar fashion. I nod to him and accept the granola bar he holds out.

The shuffle to the dock door is awkward, as has been many situations. We walk out onto the blue surface and someone is there to greet us.

They look vaguely human, but not human entirely.

"Welcome to ʜƚɒǫoƚꙅɒ! We hope you can find what you're looking for," they introduce.

I pull up ʜƚɒǫoƚꙅɒ on my watch. My watch is a super compact, high-tech, space mechanism. I'm not entirely sure how it works, but it's a lot like Google on steroids. The search results show an image of the planet, small in size, the economy is mostly from trade with larger planets.

I shrug and flick the watch off.

"Thanks," Percy replies. "We're looking to restock our spaceship. More fuel, more food, the works."

I let Percy do the talking, it's almost as if he's a natural born leader. I know in the beginning he was unruly. In the beginning of the Olympus' formation, it was just Chiron looking for demigods as a task from Dionysus. They began finding children, abandoned on different planets, struggling to understand powers just awakening.

Then they recruited helpers, people like Grover, a außerirdisch, who helped guide the newfound demigods to the Olympus. It was true that many people came before Percy, myself included, but because he was easily one of the most powerful crew mates, he rose the ranks and became a co-leader.

Last night wasn't the best example, but he was truly a nice guy.

I blush and shake the thought away. Percy had just finished conversation with the guide, and motions for me to follow them. Soon I'm stocking up on flash frozen spaghetti o's.

The rattle of machine gun fire shatters nearby windows. Percy's eyes widen and he places down the gallon of pod-ship fuel. Screams sound and the guide runs in asking for help.

"What's happening?" he yells.

I load in the rest of the things, and send the cart off to the ship. We were nearly done! I curse under my breath before asking everyone in the shop to leave immediately. Percy had already run outside, a gun in hand.

People stamped out of the shop, I struggle to stay upright in the mass exodus.

Already there were dead bodies outside. Percy shot down many skeletal warriors, attracting their attention from the escaping people. I curse again, this time out loud. Why didn't I think to bring a weapon? I was a healer dammit, but that doesn't mean I can't shoot a bitch.

Percy begins using his powers, creating waves of water from the atmosphere to knock the enemies out. One of them charge at me with a old sword. I jerk aside, but the tip of the blade catches and tears my suit.

I run away. Seeing as I couldn't defend myself, I sprint back to the ship to ask for backup. Chaos didn't allow time to think, I run despite my lack of defenses. Perhaps, if I make it in time.. I can save some people living on the planet.

If this is what I think it is. I pray we make it out alive.

I yell at people running pass me, "Follow me if you wish to live!" Soon, I've gathered a crowd of people and various other aliens.

A scream rips the air behind me, I wince but try not to look back. Somebody had gotten shot multiple times with a gun.

"DUCK!" I scream as I hear the charge of the guns second volley. Many civilians with me follow my actions, diving to the ground. Still, the aliens who needed to read a translator moved a second to late, and many got hit.

Steaming little holes from the multiple bullets that were fired now leak with blood. The healer in me wants to stop. It wants to feed the stranger a healthy dose of painkillers and apply bandages. But every other cell in my body screams at me to move on.

Just loud enough to drown out the healer.

50 feet to the ship. 40. 30. 20.

A soldier comes towards the group. I scream as it thrusts its blade at someone. My body moves on its own, pushing them out of the way to accept the sword instead.

It scrapes my arm, leaving a deep gash that bleeds profusely. My blood drips to the floor, its warm as it cascades down my arm.

I grimace and sidestep the enemies second swing. Balancing carefully, I land a solid kick onto it's chest. Bones crackle as it falls to the floor, already preparing to stand back up again. In the brief scuffle, the things dropped it's weapon.

I grab it off the floor, using my good arm to hold it defensively. "Run to the ship!" I yell at the remaining group. "Try to gather as many others as you can! Tell the people on board, Will sent you, they need backup!"

There were exclamations of fright and worry, but everyone did as told.

Using the newfound sword, I make quick work of the fallen skeleton soldier and move on to find Percy.
