Anna's POV:

"Who's ready for charades?" Elsa shouts with excitement, throwing her arms up. She always knows how to make an entrance. We all laugh and Olaf grabs our basket of words to act out, as well as our bell and hourglass.

"Can I go first?" Olaf asks with his usual silly giggle.

"Of course," Elsa laughs. He giggles again and grabs a piece of paper and opens it.

"Woah already! Lightning round, boys against girls," Olaf says. Kristoff sits forward and gets ready to go. Sven rings the bell and flips the hour glass and Olaf rearranges into his first shape.

"Uhhhh...unicorn! Ice cream! Castle! Oaken! Teapot! Mouse! Ooohhh Elsa!" Kristoff says each time he transforms.

"I don't think Olaf should get to rearrange," I say and give Kristoff a glare.

"Anna, you're up," Olaf says. I stand up and he takes my seat on the couch. I grab my slip of paper and read it. Villain.

I start growling and making angry faces, doing my best to seem like a bad person.

"Hans!" Olaf blurts out.

"Olaf..." Elsa hisses and elbows him. I stop and take a deep breath and turn away from them, looking out the window for a minute.

"Anna?" Elsa asks. I can hear her standing up.

"I'm okay...just give me a second," I say. I run my fingers through my hair and take one more deep breath before turning around to them. To my surprise, Kristoff is behind me, not Elsa. He puts his hands on my waist and I put mine on his chest.

"You okay?" He asks.

"Yea. Just needed a second," I say. He nods and leans his head down and kisses me gently and I kiss him back just as gently.

"I'm okay now," I whisper quietly. He nods and sits back down in his spot.

"What was your word Anna?" Elsa asks.

"Villain," I say and giggle a little bit. But that pit in my stomach that formed when Olaf said "Hans" is still there.

"Elsa, your turn," Olaf says. Elsa stands up and Olaf moves over so I can sit back by Kristoff. She reads her word and sets the paper down in the pile on the floor.

Elsa's POV:

I read my word carefully and have to stop myself from laughing at the irony in it. Ice.

Sven rings the bell and flips the hourglass I start waving my hands in a circle. When they're all silent, I pretend to be an ice skater, but they must be confused still. They throw out a few guesses and I sigh and shrug, trying to think of what else I could do.

"Come on Elsa give me something to work with!" Anna says and laughs.

Ah ah, ah ah

The voice.

Ah ah, ah ah, ah

I turn around and look out the window. My heart is pounding and I don't know what to do. I can't go on any longer hearing the voice and not knowing what it is. I can hear Anna yelling guesses for the game but it sounds almost...distant. Like I'm dreaming and can hear her trying to wake me up.

"We won!" Kristoff says when Sven rings the bell. Anna growls but then smiles at him as she stands up and comes over to me.

"Rematch?" She asks.

"Uh...you guys go ahead. I'm going to go ahead and go to bed," I say and hug myself, walking towards the door.

"Are you okay?" Anna asks

"Yea. Just exhausted. You know, up all night planning your birthday stuff. Goodnight," I say and walk out of the lounge room.

Anna's POV:

Elsa walks out of the room and shuts the door gently behind her.

"That was random..." I say. I've learned to deal with my own pain...sort of. But my sister being in pain hurts me too. I don't want her to be sad.

"She seemed scared," Kristoff says. I can hear him picking up the paper and putting things away as I stand there, staring at the door. I'm debating following her to check on her. But she doesn't do well with opening up to people.

"I better go check on her," I say.

"Alright. I think I'm going to head to bed too, actually. But if you need me, you know where to find me," he says softly. He kisses my forehead very softly and when he goes to pull away I wrap my arms around his torso, so his lips linger on my forehead as he puts his arms back around me.

"Don't ever leave me, please," I whisper.

"I'm not going anywhere. I promise. I love you Anna," he says quietly and hugs me a bit tighter.

"I love you Kristoff," I say. I sigh as he gives me one more kiss on my forehead before leaving to go to his room and I go down the hall to Elsa's room. I knock on the door.

"Come in," Elsa says. I open the door and see her in mother's scarf.

"You can't hide it from me. You and I both know we wear mother's scarf when something is wrong. What's wrong?" I ask. She sighs as if giving in to my persistence.

"There's this...I just...I don't want to mess things up," she says, sitting on the edge of her bed.

"What things? You're doing great Elsa. As queen and as my sister. You're doing so good," I say and put my arms around her. She sighs as she leans in to my hug.

"What would I do without you..." Elsa says.

"I'll always be here. As long as you let me," I say gently. Then I get an idea.

Where the north wind meets the sea,
There's a river, full of memory,
Sleep, my darling, safe and sound,
For in this river, all is found.

"Thank you Anna," Elsa says. I hear her yawn and she lays back on her pillow. I scoot back next to her and sit up against the pillow.

In her waters, deep and true,
Lay the answers, and a path for you,
Dive down deep into her sound,
But not too far or you'll be drowned.

I look over and Elsa is fast asleep, still wrapped in our mother's scarf. I smile and climb off her bed quietly and cover her with a blanket.

I leave and walk down the hallway quietly. I don't want to sleep yet. I decide to take a late night walk and end up going out to the grass and watching the stars. Suddenly ice crystals form in the entirety of the sky. Just as quickly as they formed, they're falling on the ground and shattering like glass. Then the water disappears from all of the fountains and the fire goes out in every single lantern and candle. The kingdom goes dark. Then the wind starts to blow hard and I'm picked up off the ground, being forced to walk towards an exit. As I'm walking, the ground beneath my feet begins to rise and I trip and fall onto the ground, hitting my head and cutting open the side of my forehead right along my hairline.  I climb back up shakily and put some pressure on my forehead with a section of the fabric of my cloak and follow the other citizens, leaving the kingdom and going to the cliffs.
