*Dusan & Riona*
Dusan and Riona smiled as they walked into one of the many archives to find Reyna and Lucian cuddled asleep on the floor in front of a great fire with a mountain of books and vials of different potions around them.
They've been working so hard these last couple of days. You think they're ready? Dusan asked as they put the books back where they belong.
The only way we'll know is if we test them. Riona sighed.
Do we have to? It's not going to be easy.
I know, my love, but their destiny was never going to be easy. We have to do this.She said and he nodded.
You're right, we have to test their bond. They have to be strong enough. He sighed as they picked them up from the floor with their magic.
Forgive us.Riona whispered, snapping her fingers and they disappeared.
*Reyna*
Reyna woke up shivering on a cold, hard, damp floor. She frowned, sitting up and looking around her. She was in a dark cavern with multiple tunnels around her. She knew she was still in the mountain but she doesn't remember how she got here.
Kova? She called out and her heart clenched in her chest. She can't feel him. She can't sense him with her demon either. She quickly stood up, looking around her again, her heart thudding in her chest. Her demon clawed and roared inside of her needing to find her mate. Her hands shook as she screamed for Lucian.
*Lucian*
Lucian groaned sitting up from the cold hard stone he was lying on. He looked around the cavern he was in. There were multiple tunnels surrounding him.
Kali? He called out and realised he can't feel her. His heart was racing as he tried to use his demon to feel their bond but there was nothing. His demon seethed in anger, clawing against him for his mate.
"It's alright, Lucian." Dusan said appearing in front of him.
"What did you do? Where is Reyna?" He growle, his eyes turning black his demon itching to rip Dusan apart.
"She's fine, this is a test."
*Reyna*
"Kova!!!" Reyna screamed, her heart was racing. She can' t feel him, he can't hear her and she doesn't know where she is.
"It's alright, Reyna." Riona said appearing in front of her.
"Why am I here? Where's Lucian?" She growled, her eyes deepening to indigo, her fangs snarling at Riona.
