You can't hide forever
And:
Now your knees are shaking,
Your toughened heart is breaking,
Your darkened mind is racing,
All you've done is taking,
It's toll on you.
Weary eyes your falling,
Blazing voices calling,
Everything is over,
Now your time has come.
You turn around so slowly,
Hold your head unholy,
The traitor marks are showing,
In moments they'll all know.
Everything you wanted,
All that you had wished for,
All that you have done.
There is no way of hiding,
Presented in your writing,
Words and deeds and times when,
You thought that you were free.
You couldn't hide forever,
They told you you should never,
Have turned this way at all.
But you ignored their voices,
Blocking out the noises,
When all the signs were pointing,
This way.
And now why are you crying?
On your knees you're begging,
Promising you'll do good,
Swearing you'll improve?
You were warned before hand,
That this is where you'd come to stand,
If you turned away.
Why should they believe you?
You can't lie on this day!
You were so resilient,
You can't deceive today!
Forget that you were trying,
They all know you were lying,
From the start line to the finish,
You always knew your end.
Now don't forget to take the last look,
This is how you leave .
Show the others what will come,
If they follow in your lead.
