Fall into me

Good start

"Let's go to a party." Chandra yelled throughout the house. Then everyone soon joined her screaming. It's what? 9:30 and they are screaming like the house is on fire. Done with that party life. I wish. They came running into my room, jumped on me, and of course started yelling. "Get up! We're going to a party. It starts at 11:00. Be ready." They said calmly. I rolled over flipped them off and went back to sleep for about five minutes. I grabbed my phone and texted Ricky.
Hey, we're going to a party around 10:40 tonight. Wanna go with us?
To my shock he texted back pretty fast.
If only I get to see you.
I smiled, I didn't reply for a few minutes trying to decide what to say back.
I'll be there, just be ready and meet us here at my house. Gotta get ready.
He didn't reply and I turned my music on. Then I thought, what about mom and dad. I ran through the house looking for them. They were gone. This is bad, I'm screwed. It was 10. I was almost ready. I just needed to find my vans. When I started looking for them T. Mills came on, his song Vans On started playing. Oh my, what a coincidence only not. I walked downstairs after I found them and sat on the couch. Everyone was finally ready, they all looked at me. I was in a pair of Nike shorts, vans, and a Brantley Gilbert Shirt. "Are you really going to wear that?" Chandra asked. I laughed and shook my head. She grabbed my arm. We went upstairs. She picked out blue jean shorts, a cute tank that had ruffles, and a jacket in case it got cold. Then she grabbed a pair of sandals. "Heck no. Put em down." I said. We walked out and left for the party. "Ricky is here." Tyler said when he opened the door. My face lit up. We left. I rode with Ricky, Chandra rode with Tyler and Daniel. "So what do you think is going to happen with her and Ricky this time?" Chandra asked. "Hopefully not break up, I think it's happening a bit fast but she needed him, and he needed her. There's a few things I can't say that happened to Ricky when he found out she was leaving." Tyler said. Nobody said anything. I knew about everything that Ricky done when I told him I was leaving.
It started the night I told him.
"Ricky, I'm leaving. I'm moving, to Florida." I said.
"You can't. You're crazy." He said
"No I mean it. Dad got offered a better job, mom was going to be closer to home. Then there's us." I finished.
"We can't do this if you're moving. I'm sorry." He said and walked away. Not even a hug goodbye. I cried walking back into the house.

After that night, Ricky went to get drunk with some of his buddies. He got addicted to a few drugs, then drinking, he went to rehab for a few months. Then he was okay. It's hard to believe this happened three years ago. Ricky was only 17. We're all 20 now. Ricky is good now, he's been clean for almost a year and a half now.

We got to the party finally. It was at the beach, of course Chandra wanted to go so badly. Ricky and I met Chandra, Tyler, and Daniel at a Bon fire. They stopped for some food. "Chandra? Is that you?" A guy said. She turned around to see a friend from middle school. "Matty? Oh my god!" She yelled. She ran to him he ran to her. They hugged for a solid 10 minutes. "How have you been? I thought you weren't moving? I have so many questions." She said. "You still haven't changed one bit. But I've been okay. And my mom and dad wanted to move closer to their in laws. But tell me about you." He said. "Awh that's actually sweet. And that depends what you want to know." She said. He laughed. "You really haven't changed at all." He said. She smiled, they sat down around the fire. Matty brought a blanket. "Are you cold?" He asked. She nodded her head. Even though they were near the fire they weren't close enough. "I'll be right back." He said walking to his truck. He came back with a Dayton Flyer blanket. Her eyes opened real big. "Oh my god Matty. Did you apply for UD?" She asked. "I got accepted actually." He said. "That's where I'm gonna try to go!" She yelled. He laughed. "Do you wanna go walk?" He asked. "Yeah, that'd be great." She said getting up. "Bring the blanket." He said. She smiled. They walked off leaving me with Tyler, Daniel, and Ricky. We sat around a tailgate. They had a small fire going. I'm happy I brought some sweat pants and my north face jacket. Daniel saw someone he knew. He left with her. "Tyler!" A guy yelled. He looked up taking a drink from his cup. "No way!" He yelled. He put his cup down. I smelled of the liquid. Moonshine. Hell no. I poured it out, gonna be the party pooper tonight. Ricky laughed. He walked back over. He grabbed his cup. "What happened to my moo- Mountain Dew?" He asked. "Nice cover up, you're driving tonight. Not to mention, you aren't supposed to drink as it is." I said getting up. Tyler was pretty much my brother. He lived with me when his mom and dad were getting a divorce, when his mom had work he would come over and stay countless nights. He knows if we drink any he has to go back home back to where we lived. Which was in Nevada. Ricky grabbed my hand. He turned me around so I was looking at him. "Look, it's okay, if he wants to mess things up let him. But don't let him stop you from having a good time tonight. I'm finally with you again, I don't want anything to screw that up. Come on please." He said. I could feel tears. I didn't want Tyler to mess up, I wanted him to stay here with us. He didn't need to go back to Nevada. He'd be in trouble so much. "I can't just let him be drinking. Will you talk to him?" I asked. He frowned a bit then hugged me. "Anything for you." He said turning around. I smiled. I folded my arms watching both of them. Tyler walked over to me while Ricky stayed back. Tyler hugged me, he started to tear up. "Thank you, for caring about me. I won't drink. If you want I'll stay with you and Ricky tonight." He said. "No, you can hang out make new friends. Just don't drink, or smoke. Please Tyler you can't go back. You don't need to!" I was yelling. I did start crying Chandra and Matty came back and Ricky was already at my side. "Don't do it Tyler. You can't." I mumbled. I pushed my way through a crowd of people. Ricky on my heels. Once everyone was out of my way I ran. I ran to one place Tyler and I found a few summers back when we went on vacation here.
"I don't know where she went." Ricky said to Tyler. He looked around. "I know where she is. Ill be back." He said jogging off. He found where I was. I had my knees to my chest watching the oceans waves. I laid back on the dry sand. It was so peaceful. No wonder Tyler and I would come out here so much. "I'm sorry." He said sitting down next to me. I raised up. "Why Tyler? You know what it'd be like if you went back." I said. He put his arm around me. "I know, that's why I stopped. That's why I ran out here after you. Come on let's go." He said. "Another thing I promise not to drink." He said. I got up, we walked back to the party. I looked terrible. Everyone looked at us when we got back. Ricky, Tyler, Chandra, Matty, and Daniel were already ready to go home. As well as me. We got home finally. The ride back was silent. "Do you want to stay with me tonight? or me stay with you?" Ricky asked. "You know you can't." I said. "We can just tell your parents we fell asleep watching movies and lost track of time." He said. I looked over at him. "You still have your sneaky ways Ricky James." I said. We pulled into the drive way. We walked upstairs to my room and turned on Netflix. I made popcorn, grabbed some chocolate and two coca colas vanilla actually. "You know me so well." He smiled. "We both love the same things." I said. "Actually to be honest, I never stopped loving you. When you told me you were leaving, I didn't know how to feel. But that's been two years ago and I'm finally back with you as a friend." He said. I was speechless. I smiled. He got up and walked over to me. "I love you. I always have." He smiled. Then he kissed me. He pulled back. "I love you too Ricky." I smiled. He smiled. "Let's watch some movies." He said. We watched movies. Chandra and Matty stayed at his house. They done the same as me and Ricky. Tyler and Daniel stayed out late together and went hunting for some dates. Funny.

At Mattys. "Oh my god no!" Chandra yelled. "Shhh." Matty said. "Don't shhh me! That's a foul and you know I damnit." She yelled louder. He rolled his eyes. His mom walked in his room. "Is she okay?" She asked. "Basketball mom. You have no clue." He said. "Who's playing?" She asked. "Ohio vs. Oklahoma." She said. His mom ran over jumped on the bed and started yelling with Chandra. Matty got up and went downstairs. "Mom and girlfriend watching a game?" His dad asked. "How'd you know? And she's not my girlfriend." He said. "I know your mother. And okay. But goodnight Matty." His dad said grabbing a bottle of water. Matty fell asleep on the couch.
