Waking up, still with that smile I went to sleep with. I realized I couldn't breathe because Matty had the blanket pulled over me. I pulled it down and let out a sigh. Matty looked at me, "Are you okay?" He asked. "Yeah I'm fine, my boyfriend just tried to suffocate me in my sleep." I said. "I'm sorry!" He yelled. I laughed and got out of bed. "I smell food and it's good." Matty said. He ran past me and down to the kitchen. Ricky and Kyla were cooking. "Mom and dad aren't home, so we decided to cook." Ricky said. Out of no where I heard little tapping and someone yelling "Morgan!" My eyes got wide as I turned around to see him. "Jimmy! You're back!" I yelled. He smiled I picked him up. "What are you doing?" I asked him. "I came to see Cuz!" He yelled. I opened my eyes wide and said ow. Kid could bust an ear drum. I put him down and saw chicken. "That explains a lot." I said. Jimmy only eats chicken and biscuits, he could live off it. When it was all done, I grabbed a plate Kyla fixed Jimmys first so everyone could have how much they wanted. He sat down at the table. "Morgan sit by me!" He yelled. I fixed my plate and sat beside him. "Is it good?" I asked. He nodded his head and took a big bite of chicken. When we finished Wanda and Jack walked in the house. Jimmy started crying. "I don't need to go home mommy!" He said. "We're not leaving yet Jimmy Boy." Jack said. "Okay." He said running to Ricky. "He really loves Ricky." Matty said. "I know." I said.
"Jimmy, you better come give Matty a hug." Chandra said. "No way." He said. He ran over to Chandra and hugged her. He looked up at Matty. Matty picked him up. "Bye Matty!" He said. "Bye Jimmy." He said. It was a good morning. They left to go back home this time. I'm gonna miss him. "What are we doing today?" I asked. "How about a party?" Mom said. "Uh what?" I said. "A party. Invite a few people over and have a pool party. No alcohol, weed, or cigarettes." Mom finished. "This shall be great. Too bad we don't know anyone." Chandra said. She made a point. We knew absolutely nobody here. On the other hand we could make new friends. "Let's hit the beach and make some friends!" Chandra yelled. We got ready and went to the beach. A few people noticed our attire. We did not fit in here. But we will. We set our stuff up on the sand. It was so warm but the sun was so hot. The guys went to make friends even though they knew people. A few people came to talk to Chandra and me. "You are new here aren't you?" A guy asked. "Yeah, you could say that." Chandra said. He laughed. "I'm Josh. This is my friend Derek." He said. "I'm Kyla, and this is Chandra." I said. "That's who Ricky was telling us about!" Derek said. "You know Ricky?" Chandra asked. "Who doesn't is a better question." Derek said. "Well if she's with Ricky, then she's with Matty." Josh said. We looked at each other. Ricky and Matty walked over. "Hey bro." Matty said. "Hey man!" Josh said. Ricky didn't say anything. He stared at me the whole time they stood there. "Can I talk to you alone?" Ricky finally spoke. I got up and walked with him. "Look, these guys are bad news. It's the reason we split up last time. They were in Nevada and we got out one night and they got me drunk. That's why I sent you all those texts. I'm sorry. But I don't want to be around them." He said. I was speechless. We walked back to them. "Hope Matty didn't tell them about the party." I whispered. "Man I can't wait to party!" Derek said. I looked at Ricky. They left. "What's wrong with you?" Ricky asked Matty. "What? Inviting them?" He asked. Ricky nodded his head yes. "I thought you were over what they done." He said. "Someone doesn't just get over that." Ricky said. He grabbed me and we walked off, I ran back and grabbed some Doritos then back to Ricky. We got in the truck and pulled off. "Where we going?" I asked. "To a real friend." He said. Oh lordie.
We pulled into a long drive way, there was someone already standing outside. "Don't worry, nothing is going to happen to you." Ricky told me. So now I was getting a bit afraid. The guy walked over and got in the truck. "This is Trevor, he's gonna be at the party tonight with us." He said. Trevor smiled, I just turned back around. The ride back home was pretty silent. We finally got to the house. Chandra and Matty made it back. It was 6:45. We got everything set up for the party, Trevor was a huge help considering he was so tall. After we were done, Josh and Derek walked in. I turned to look at Matty. "You and me kitchen now." I said. "Why'd you invite them?" I Asked. "Because they are my friends?" He said. "Maybe they'll come between you and Chandra tonight." I said walking off. He hadn't thought about that. But he couldn't just say they had to leave. Luckily dad was still there. We all went to him. "Dad, we have a problem. Matty invited two guys that don't need to be here." I said. "Get me a tablet and the names of everyone that will be here." He said. We done as he said. People started pulling up, dad stood at the door with a towel around his neck, his sandals on, a white t-shirt, a straw hat, sunglasses and swimming trunks on. Only my dad. He checked the names off as people came in the house. Mom showed everyone where to go to. "Names please." Dad said. "Derek, and Josh." Derek said. "Oh, I'm sorry. Youre on the list, you just can't enter." Dad said. "Why?" Josh asked. "That's the rules, I'm the dad." He said. They tried getting by dad but mom brought him the 22. "Leave." He said. They took off running. "Next." Dad said. After the last person walked in the house he shut the door and locked it. He walked upstairs to change and stayed in the living room. It was going to be a fun night.
