Next week is Tyler and Matty's birthdays. They both wanna go do something fun, but of course we don't want to travel more than 6 hours. Driving to the airport then her was far enough. We woke up, mom and dad was cooking. Yummy. Mom always makes the best pancakes and biscuits ever. She's weird at cooking but knows what goes together. I jumped. Out of bed, leaving Ricky. I ran downstairs got a glass and poured some orange juice. Soon enough I'd be moving out so I was pretty much like a kid on Christmas morning. After I drank my juice and grabbed a biscuit I went upstairs. I walked in my room, Ricky took the whole bed up. I got an air horn. I didn't put right to his ear. Before I blew it I ran back downstairs. "Mom, dad. Help me out, where's the cow bell we had?" I asked. "Wanna wake Ricky up don't ya?" Dad asked. I nodded my head. He went to the garage and got the bell. "I suppose you want me to come with you." He said. We went upstairs. "On three okay?" He said. I smiled. "1." I counted. "2." He said. "3!" We both yelled. Dad rung the bell while I held the horn. We were yelling wake up. Ricky actually jumped and fell off the bed. I died laughing as well as dad. Ricky got up and started running after us. I passed dad and jumped in the pool. I knew Ricky wouldn't do that. Ricky jumped in the pool with me. I tried swimming away but didn't get to. After we got out of the pool we saw Tyler and Daniel came out of their rooms asking what was going on. We just laughed. Great morning so far. Chandra and Matty walked in the door. "Your hair is wet, you smell like a pool. You went swimming without me!" Chandra yelled. "Actually, I got chased into the pool." I said. Dad explained to her what happened. She started laughing. "Thankfully I wasn't here." She said. I started eating as soon as mom put the last pancake on a plate. "Um where are your manners? Guests first?" Mom said. "It's Matty and Ricky honey." I said. She gave me a look, I laughed. Everyone else grabbed a plate. I was already done by the time everyone sat down. I sit with them until someone else finished. I ran upstairs into my room. I picked out an outfit for the day. Mom and dad had a day planned out. Ricky walked in. "Whatcha doing?" Ricky asked. "I'm picking out clothes for today." I said. "Oh, that's outfit is really nice." He said pointing to the one in the middle. I smiled. "That one it is then." I said. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me to him. I put my arms around his neck and tip toed to his face the best I could. He smiled at me. "Are we back together now?" He asked. "Do you want to be?" I asked. "I've missed you so much. I want you back." He said smiling. "Okay then." I Said. I gave him a hug and ran downstairs. He chased after me. I bumped into Chandra. "Woah there. Whatcha doing?" She asked. Coming to get you. Let's go get an outfit picked out!" I said. We ran back upstairs. I ran into Ricky this time. "What did your mom put in the food? I've never seen you this way." He said. "Nothing, I'm just really happy Ricky James." I said walking pass him. Ricky and Chandra exchanged looks. She walked by him and into her room. "Okay, so let's put this shirt with these shorts and these sandals. Or this with those." I said. "Okay what is up?" She asked. "Nothing, tonight is just really special." I said. "Oh my god. I know." She said. She gave me a hug. "Chandra, I'm gonna cry stop." I said. She let go. "Okay. I need help. Ricky!" I yelled. He came running to Chandra's. "Ricky?" she looked at me. "What?" He asked looking worried. "What should she wear?" I asked. he looked at the clothes laid out. "I say, put this shirt, with these shorts. And hand me those shoes. There." He said. Chandra just looked at him. "Okay. You are coming shopping with me." She said. I laughed. "Thanks Ricky." I said. "No problem." He said, I could tell he wanted a hug but he just smiled. "Okay, I'm gonna go shower and change." I said.
"Chandra." Matty said. "What?" I said. "I don't think I should go tonight." He said. "Why? It'll be fine." I said. "I know, but still." He said. I dropped my head, and walked away. "Hey, you guys don't think it'll be too weird for Matty to go would it?" I asked her parents. They gave each other a look. "Chandra, tonight is special." Dad said. "Then why does Ricky get to go?" I asked. "Because, she'll need someone tonight. Plus they pretty much grew up together. Ricky and her knew each other before you two did. Don't take it to heart. Leslie would just like to see Ricky tonight." Mom said. "Oh, I didn't know." She said. "But we can go out another time and take Matty. Daniel doesn't even get to go." Mom said. I walked off. I thought about it for a minute. Did I really call them mom and dad? Guess so.
Walking on, I sat in the living room. Tyler came to sit next to me. "Heard you didn't get to go. I'm sorry. She's just weird." He said. I smiled. He side hugged me and left. He was dressed up. Matty walked over and put his arm around me. "It's okay buttercup we'll get some Reese's." I laughed. We walked outside. "Chandra, I love you." He said. "You do?" I asked. He smiled. "Matty I love you too." I said. He kissed me. Until mom and dad walked outside. "Okay, leave it for when we're not here, but also it better stay at a kiss." Dad said. I laughed and went red. Kyla Tyler and Ricky walked out after mom and dad. "Sorry you didn't get to come, I'll make it up to you." She said. I hugged her. Tyler smiled. Ricky and Matty just done a hand shake that was pretty cool. "Teach me that?" I asked Matty. Ricky turned around and yelled "Don't do it!" I laughed. We waved at them as they pulled off. "Well it's 1:30. What are we going to do?" Matty asked. "Uh go swimming? Duh." I said. He smiled. "Okay sass master." He said. We walked inside to change our clothes. Daniel was going to drive around town. Matty and I jumped in the water. It felt amazing. I stayed in for at least ten minutes then got out. I was finally dry after about an hour. Matty and I just talked and played music. I got up and went to get on a float. Matty splashed some water on me to help tan such a great boyfriend. We heard a car door slam. We jumped out of the pool and ran in the house. "Matty looked through the peep hole. It was a guy in a fancy suit. He knocked on the door. Then rang the door bell. "I know you are home. The vehicles are all here. I called Kyla.
Hello?
Come back now but come in the back way hurry.
I hung up. Thankfully her and Ricky drove separate vehicles from mom and dad. "Open the door. Now." The guy was getting mad. Kyla and Ricky came in the back door. "Who is he?" Ricky asked. I shrugged as well as Matty. Ricky looked at who he was. Kyla ran upstairs. She came back down with her 22 loading it. "Glad we don't have neighbors." She said. I couldn't help but to laugh. "When I say open the door an stand out of the way. No I'm not shooting him." She said. Matty stood behind the small wall as well as me. Ricky opened the door. "What do you want?" She yelled. "I need to talk." He said. "What about?" She yelled back. "Important things." He said. "Like what?" She yelled. "Just open the door." He demanded. "Now." She whispered moving closer to the door. "Did you just demand me to open MY door, on MY propert?" She asked holding the gun up. He stepped back. "Uhm, yes. Why do you have a gun?" He asked. "Because I don't trust assholes like you knocking on my damn door demanding something and can't even be professional. Now tell me what the hell you're doing." She said. "Zayum." I said. "I uh." He stopped trying to grab her. She shot him in the arm. She threw the gun to me. I caught it. She grabbed both his arms and tackled him down and sat on his back. "Now tell me, who the hell you think you are." She demanded. "I'm.. Matty's dad." He said. I looked at Matty he shook his head. She got off his back. "Call mom and dad." She said. I dialed the number telling them Kyla forgot her phone. They said okay. "My dad?" Matty questioned. He nodded. "Was this necessary? What makes you think I even want to talk to you?" He asked. He shrugged his shoulders. Matty walked to the kitchen. "Do you want him out?" I asked. Matty nodded his head yes. I told Kyla. "Get out." She said. "What?" He asked. "I didn't stutter get out now and don't come back." She said. What a way to start off a day.
