CHAPTER 2

Taylor's POV

I was still sitting in the park, just after dusk, the sky was a beautiful colour a mix of purple, blue yellows and pinks. "ahhh" I say letting out a sigh. Bella was sleeping in my arms as it was past her bed time, such a good little girl, not being any trouble, not crying not making a fuss, just peacefully sleeping. Life was terrible, having thoughts that I could just end this and go back home?......NO ! I thought to myself, snap out of that Taylor ! you don't need that dump. Well it never used to be a dump, we had such a good family, mum and dad had a good income Bella had just been born, I went to a good school, everyone was happy. Now...everything has changed dad's passed away, mum is an alcoholic, she's always drunk now thank the lord, she has never touched Bella but she hit me...

**FLASHBACK**

I was sitting quietly watching tv, Bella was sleeping up stairs in her cot, I had just come home from school ugh ! school I hate school ! I don't have many friends because we were constantly moving houses because mum and dad disagreed that the house wasn't right it wasn't homey enough or whatever, I just sat in the bathroom and ate lunch, I sat at the front of the class. I didn't mind it, because if i made friends would just have to leave them and move somewhere else.

It was getting late and I was wondering where Mum, she normally is never late, well that's how it use to be but now that Dad is gone everything I going down hill...while I was pondering that thought Mum came home..finally !

"HELLO? I AM HOME !" Mum slurred

"Mum, are you drunk?" I asked concerned

"What?! Nooooo, don't be so silly child !" she said, half yelling

"Mum you should go to bed" I said rather loudly

"Are you telling of what to do?!" she screamed, I was getting kind of sacred but I stayed strong

"I am telling you what I think is best for you right now...seeing as you can't do that yourself" I said saying the last part under my breath

"Don't be so fucking stupid, child ! You don't know anything ! you mindless and stupid and no-one cares about you ! fucking slut" she said. And with one hard hit I was on the floor. One part of me was so angry ugh ! I just wanted to scream "I hate you !" and the other part of me was so scared I didn't know what to do?

so I just ran up stairs and looked for Bella she was peacefully sleeping in her cot, she was so cute. All my emotions just fell to the floor through my tears, Bella started to wake up, tossing and turning, she started to cry, I quickly picked her up rocking her back and forth while I softly sang in her ear

"isn't she loudly

isn't she wonderful"

and that's all it took for Bella to fall back to sleep. After I while of holding Bella in my arms and calming myself down, I went back downstairs, Mum was standing at the door holding a bottle of alcohol she turned when she saw me and said "I am sorry, I wont say anything or do anything like that again" and I genuinely believed her...I wished I hadn't
