(The drawing is another I did one of my now girlfriend! Also, sorry I don't update too often, quarantine is draining my motivation)

"Does anyone know where Ouma is?" Tojo spoke up. I glanced at the seat he usually sat in and sure enough he wasn't there.

"Uh.. Perhaps he's just sleeping in?" I questioned myself as I spoke.
"Who cares where he is?! Iruma bellowed out. "It's one less rat to feed with him go-" she was intersected by Ouma slamming into the dining hall.

"Did ya miss me?!" He yelled out in a low and raspy voice. He did not sound well whatsoever.

Before anyone had time to react he swayed slightly and fell face first on the ground.

Needless to say, I panicked. A lot.
While I was stuck in my head, Ouma sat up and cursed to himself.

I snapped out of my panic and rushed over to him without thinking. I kneeled down and placed my hand on his forehead. It was boiling.

"Ah, jeez..." I mumbled to myself as everyone returned to their business.
"Shuichiii, can you move your hand? It's really sweaty and gross." Ouma spoke croakily.

I pulled my hand away quickly, "Ah, sorry Ouma.." I thought for a moment. "You're definitely not well, seems like a fever. Uh.."

I inhaled anxiously and picked the shorter boy up bridal style.
"Shuichi what th-" he cut himself off by coughing.

"I'm going to take you to my room and help you get better." I stated with strange confidence as I set off to my dormitory.

Ouma didn't fight back, I doubt he had the energy to. In fact he was half asleep by the time I reached my dorm.

I entered my dorm, careful not to drop the frail boy as I opened the door. I placed him on my bed and huffed, completely stumped as what to do next.

After a minute of consideration I went into my bathroom and wet a rag. I returned and placed it on the now sleeping Ouma's forehead.

I moved his purple locks away from his face and smiled subconsciously.
A knock at the door snapped me out of my trance.

I opened the door and in walked Tojo with a bowl of soup and some medicine.
"Give these to him when he wakes up, if there's anything else you need don't be afraid to ask." Tojo spoke in her usual serious manner.

"Alright, thank you Tojo-San."
She simply nodded and left the room, closing the door behind herself.

I pulled a chair next to my bed and sat down. I observed the short boy with curiosity. He looked strangely peaceful asleep.

Before I knew it, I fell asleep leaning my head against the bed.

>~Kokichi's POV~<
I woke up to a familiar smell all around me. And a massive headache.

I tried to sit up but tension on the blanket pulled my attention down. Shuichi.

So that's what the smell was. I smiled and ran the detective's hair through my fingers.

'How can he be so perfect?' I thought to myself.

(Sorry this isn't that romantic or fluffy, I'm tired ;-;)
