(River's POV)
After she runs away, I run after her. I understand why she's upset though. I've always been a jerk to her. After I finally reach her, I say, "Em, I'm so sorry. I realize I've been such a jerk to you, and I'm sorry."
Emily says, "I've always liked you from the first time I saw you and you've been rude. I thought you must not like me if you're so mean. It's not like me. I hate cheaters, and players, or anything of the sort, but somehow I like you."
I say, "I'm so sorry. Will you forgive me?"
She says, "Not yet. Show me you're sorry and I'll consider forgiving you."
Then she walks away from me and into the cafeteria.
(In the cafeteria)
After what she said, I walk into the cafeteria and sit down next to Parker. He says to me, "You know it's not gonna be easy for her to forgive you. You caused her a lot of pain."
I say, "I know. But do you like Jessica, the new girl?"
Parker says, "Maybe. I don't know yet. He points to Emily's table only to see Veronica and her 2 best friends are there. Hope, and Emerald.
I get up and so do my friends. We walk over to her only to see this.
(Emily's POV)
I say, "What the heck?! Veronica, why are you so mean to me?"
She says, "You stole my boyfriend. Thanks, btw, you slut"
I'm about to get punched so I close my eyes waiting for it. When I don't feel it, I open my eyes.
I see River holding Veronica's fist. He says, "You wanna do that again? Don't ever call her that. Me and you both know she isn't a slut."
She says, "Well, maybe, she shouldn't steal my boyfriend."
River says, "Whatever."
(River'sPOV)
After that, I go back to my table with my friends. After lunch was over, I go back home.
