I got home after school and tried to do some homework. I gave up after an hour because I couldn't focus. I went into the kitchen to make a snack. After I finished eating, I got a call from Summer, she said, "Hey, I wanted to know if you and Daisy wanted to come over to my house?"
I said, "Sure. I'll be there at 6." I hung up on her.
I packed a bag of clothes and walked out the door. When I got there, I walked into Summer's house. She was in the living room. She saw us and walked over. She said, "Hey, do you guys want something to eat?" We both said no.
We walked over to the couch and sat down. After a few minutes, we played a game where you say the first thing that comes to mind. Daisy went first, she asked Summer if she liked chocolate ice cream or vanilla ice cream better. She said chocolate. Then it was Summer's turn, she said, "River or Jason?"
I said, "River." before I even knew I said it.
They both laughed. I was so mad at them and got up and walked upstairs. They both ran after me. Before they could talk to me though, I had slammed the door to the bathroom.
I came out a couple of minutes later but they weren't there anymore. I walked down the stairs and saw them on the couch on their phones. I walk over to them and we sit there in silence for a few minutes. Then, Summer speaks, "I'm sorry."
I say, "It's ok. I overreacted."
They say, "Maybe just a little? We shouldn't have done that though."
After that, we go to sleep. I wake up in the morning and we go to school.
I get there and see Jessica with Parker. He's flirting with her and I walk up to them. I hear him say, "So, Jessica, I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me?"
She has a blush on her face, she says, "Sure." Parker has the happiest smile on his face when she said that.
River then walks up and smiles at me as he starts talking to Parker.
(Parker's POV)
I wish River and Emily would just date. It's so obvious they like each other. As he's talking to me, he kept glancing at her. She did the same thing. I say, "Let's go to class, or would you prefer staring at each other?"
They both immediately stop and we all start walking, with my arm around Jessica.
