(Emily's POV)
I've been waiting for a few hours and the doctors finally come out and say, "He's fine. Let me know when he wakes up.'
I say, "Ok. Thank you."
I walk into River's room and sit on the couch. After a few minutes of sitting there, River opens his eyes. I say, "You're awake. How are you feeling?"
He says, "Fine. I have a question."
I say, "Ok."
He says, "Are you still mad at me? Do you forgive me?"
I say, "No, I'm not mad. I forgive you."
He says, "Thank you."
I say, "For what?"
He says, "For forgiving me."
I say, "No problem."
He says, "Will you be my girlfriend?"
I say, "Yes."
