I look at Emily as she says, "It's completely fine! My name's Emily Robinson."
The new girl says, "My name's Jessica Kite." She's embarrassed as she says this. I wonder why?
River and his friends walk up to us. I see Parker stare at Jessica. Then after a few seconds, look at River because he's in charge.
River says, "Hey, Em. I was just wondering if you're done being nice?" He starts laughing and smirking.
Emily says, "No. I think you're done being an asshole though. Oh wait, that'll never happen!" She starts laughing.
We all start laughing as he glares at her. He walks away mad. His friends soon follow him.
"Anyway, we should get to class," I say.
Emily said, "That's a great idea, Daisy."
(At lunch)
Emily and I went to the lunch line and grabbed our lunch. We took it back to our table and Jessica was sitting with us. I see Veronica walk up to Emily and throw a fist at her. She says, "You stole my boyfriend! River broke up with me because he likes you!"
Emily looked shocked and said, "I'm sorry. I didn't know."
Veronica punches her again and again. She finally pulls out a knife and runs at her. Just as she's about to stab her, she's thrown across the room by Joey, Lincoln, and Parker. I'm shocked as I see River glare at her. He says, "Don't touch her! It's not her fault I like her."
Emily just starts crying. I ask her what's wrong and she says, "I've always liked River. I just hid it because he's always mean. Now I don't know what to do, Daisy!" She cried.
River looks at her and smiles. However, before he can reach her, she runs out of the cafeteria.
River runs after her.
