Four people, as it turned out, was about two too many for his tiny little apartment. Jungkook had adamantly refused to leave, and honestly Jin lacked the resolve to push the issue. Which was how he and Taehyung had ended up taking over his couch to play Overwatch. With Jin almost constantly afraid that one of his guest was going to find the stain that he hadn't quite been able to get out and was currently being hid with one of his brightly colored pillows.
Namjoon was sitting across from him at the small little table - freshly sanitized, twice, in fact, because he couldn't get the image out of his own mind - drinking coffee and simply observing. Jin really couldn't tell if he approved of the entire situation or if he was just amused by it.
His phone went off for what felt like the hundredth time and he picked it up, sighing as he saw who it was.
"It's Jimin again."
"Answer it." Namjoon said simply, nodding towards the other's to be quiet for a moment. They were in between rounds, and Jungkook wordlessly took them out of the queue.
"I don't know if I -"
"You can. Just be calm." Namjoon instructed. "You've got this, Jin."
"You go sweet pea." and "You got this babe." came from the sofa, both of them offering up encouragement. Taking a deep breath, he slowly slid the screen towards answer, instantly putting it on speaker and laying the phone back down onto the table.
"Hey Chim."
"Jinnie!" Jimin sounded so impossibly relieved that it almost made him feel guilty for the amount of anger he was currently trying to hold on to. "There you are! I've been trying to get ahold of you all day. Tae still won't answer my calls and I'm getting really worried. We've never fought like this before and I just... fuck Jin, I just want to know if he's okay or not."
Glancing over at the sofa, he watched as Taehyung sighed then nodded his head in silent agreement.
"He's fine, Chimmy. I think he just needs some time, you know?"
"God... I can't even fucking blame him. If you knew the shit I said to him you'd probably need time away from me too."
"What do you mean?" There was silence on the other end of the line, before he heard a soft little sound that could only have been a sob.
"Because you're gonna hate me, Jin. You're gonna hate me and Tae already does and I'm pretty sure Jungkook never wants to see my ass again and Namjoon things I'm crazy and -"
"Take a deep breath, Jimin. You're gonna hyperventilate."
"Right. Right, sorry." There was another pause, and he heard Jimin doing as he said, taking in a few deep breaths before continuing on.
"Start at the beginning for me, okay?"
"We'd be here all day." There was another soft sniffle and honestly Jin almost didn't have the heart to make him keep going. "You said you talked to Tae, right?"
"Yeah."
"Did he tell you?" Glancing back over, Taehyung just shrugged, indicating that he didn't really care which answer Jin gave.
"About the fight? Yeah, he told me." Jimin wailed - actually fucking wailed at that and Jin glanced back over to watch Taehyung roll his eyes. "But I'd like to hear your side too."
"Why? Everything he told you is true, Jinnie. All of it. About me and Jungkook. About me still being in love with him. Even the part about me just settling for Taehyung. What kind of fucking person does all of that make me?"
