"Are you seriously dressing up to go to a convenience store?"

The only person he knew in the entire world who had any sense of fashion was Taehyung. And so he had, against his own better judgement, asked him to come help him get ready.

"No, you stupid ass. I'm dressing up for my soul mate."

"And how do you know that guy didn't warn him you'd be coming?"

"Because he said he wouldn't."

"And you believed him?"

"Did I have a choice?"

"Okay, true. But Kook, I just don't want to see you get hurt, okay?"

"He's my soul mate, Tae. He wouldn't do that."

"How do you even know that? Have you seen his tattoo?"

"No but...."

"My point."

"Look, I get it. You're concerned. But Hoseok said my name and I know for a fact I never gave it to Jin."

"It's on your card."

"Yeah. That I slid into the reader."

"It could have come up on the screen."

"Taehyung."

"I'm just telling you to be careful."

"Yeah. Because if I were them I'd want to scam from dude who works in I.T. with no social life too."

"Hey! You have me and Jimin."

"You two fuckers don't count."

"Excuse me, do you want my help on your little lover boy quest or not?"

"Are you gonna actually be helpful?"

"I hope you choke on his dick."

...

He was so incredibly nervous, his entire being practically shaking as he walked through the darkness towards the store. As the sun had gone down so had the temperature, and he regretted not picking a warmer outfit. But he had to admit that he looked good. Taehyung had good taste even if he was insufferable.

Black, skin right jeans that hugged his thighs and ass and made it look like the fabric was barely containing it all. A crisp, fresh white tee shirt under a button up, left loose to hang off his frame, the light colors splashing across the surface and making his features stand out. Dark messy hair and smooth, tanned skin. Large doe eyes and that bunny smile he couldn't help but bring out the second he was truly happy.

Being out so late was going to make the morning difficult, but he honestly didn't care. Hoseok had told him to come in after ten - that's when things we're usually dead, leaving them with nothing to do but flutter around doing menial chores to pass the time. Most of the businesses in the area were already closed, and with it being a week night - a Tuesday to be exact - the only people who might be around to interrupt then were late night stragglers coming from the surrounding complexes looking for drinks or snacks.

Taking a deep breath, he slipped inside, instantly sighing as the warm air hit his frozen skin. Instead of hovering near the front counter, he went directly to the ramen, shoving his hands into his pockets and waiting.

Distantly he heard Jin sigh, then the distinct sound of his foot steps as he left the front counter, presumably to come find whoever had interrupted his peace.

"Look what the cat dragged in." Whatever annoyance he had been feeling seemed to fall away at the sight of the other, that playful, coy smile taking it's place.
