"Honestly, it's not that hard! Just go up to her and say "Hi, (Y/N)! I really like you, wanna make out?" Really, Ibuki, it's not that hard!" Mahiru exclaimed. "It is hard!" Ibuki countered. "And why is tha-" "She's already in a relationship." "Oh shit..." "And a toxic one. He... He beats her, I know it!" The musician broke down, collapsing on the floor, crying for her crush. "Oh shit.. What do I do?! I know! Wait here, Ibuki! I know who to get!"
Mahiru ran all around Hopes Peak, looking for the (H/C) female. She eventually found her. "(Y/N)! Come with me, it's Ibuki!" "Ibuki...? Ibuki! Where is she?!" (Y/N) said, shouting at the end. Mahiru told her, and off they went.
Skidding to a stop, and nearly ramming into the wall, (Y/N) fell to her knees, hugging Ibuki close. She had no complaints, and just sat crying into her chest. The red-head left, leaving the two on the floor. After the girl had calmed down, (Y/N) asked softly "Do you want to come to my dorm to talk about it?" Ibuki nodded.
They had been talking for a while, not about why she had been crying, just stuff to distract her. "Hey, (Y/N). I have a question." "Sure, go ahead!" "Does (random name)... hurt you?" (Y/N) smile faltered. "N-no... Why'd you think that? H-He doesn't!" She exclaimed, lying through her teeth. Gently, Ibuki wiped off the makeup on her cheek, showing a nasty purple and blue bruise in its place.
(Y/N) froze, before she started crying. "I-I'm sorry I didn't tell you before! I- he would've hurt you if I told anyone!" "He would hurt... me? Why?" Ibuki asked. "He already knew we were really close, and knew that I would rather stay in a relationship with him than have one of my closest friends and crush hurt. Every time I tried to escape, he would always bring you up, and go into detail about what he'd do to you. I couldn't let that happen to you! I can't let you get hurt, by anyone! I love you too much to lose you!" (Y/N) cried. "You... you love me?" Ibuki said, blushing. "I said that out loud? Shit..." (Y/N) muttered. "I.. I love you too!" Ibuki said, and pulled (Y/N) into a sweet kiss. Just a few moments later, the moment was ruined by the sound of cheering and the clicking of a camera. Mahiru ran in "THEY'RE FINALLY TOGETHER!! YAY!! Finally my OTP has- AAAAAHHH!!!!" She exclaimed, screaming and running away from a fuming (Y/N) at the end.
