chapter 7: Shogun steel. the next generation vs shinto.

Naruto's New name and moniker as Shinto was becoming legendary.

So legendary in fact that every time he was talked about people got excited asking where to find him.

However. Not one single person ever dared to speak of his location or where he's staying. Little did everyone know. It's much closer then they think.

There was a tournament going on and since he had nothing better to do decided he would participate in it.

He then approached the stadium arena with a brief case and said.

"I've been hearing about people here who thinks they have what it takes to defeat me. If that's so then I invite everyone in this stadium to challenge me with their best beyblades. Rest assured.

I cannot be beaten. There's not one person or team I haven't faced that could not defeat me.

If you have what it takes. If you are feeling brave enough to challenge me. Your more then welcome to meet me on my island.

I'll be waiting for your response by the end of this tournament.

And I can't wait to see what types of challenges you will bring me."

The referee then said.

"OH would you look at that folks!!!. Shinto's just given everyone here an open invitation to battle him all at once!!!.

Who's going to be the brave soul to challenge this legendary beyblade warrior???. And who will be able to finally defeat him???.

It should also be made a known fact that he's the current reigning champion of the BBA and is still #1 in the ranks."

Zero then stood up and said.

"I'll do it!!!. I'll challenge him on his own island and beat him and prove that even his best beyblades have a weakness!!!. Who's with me!!??. Who's going to help me dethrone the champ!!??."

Shinto then turned around and said.

"What's your name kid???.
And who's your beyblade partner???."

And zero said.

"The names zero and my partner is samurai ifrit.
Name a time and place on your island and I'll be there!!!."

And shinto said.

"Go to the harbor. Get on a boat and sail to the only island farthest north.

Find the shrines of the first deities of Japan and there you shall receive the chance to defeat me if you can.

An offering required.
One of strength and one of kindness. To be in the God's favor by only the best will they grant your request."

Shinto then left as he went back to hiding in the shadows observing the competition to see who's got the best chance of defeating him.

Sadly he didn't see anyone promising accept for zero. He wondered just how strong the samurai ifrit was.
Either way. he'd find out soon enough.

Ginka then approached him and said.

"So you've been staying on an island this whole time and only appear at tournaments huh???. That's highly unlike you at all Shinto...or should I just call you... naruto uzumaki???."

And shinto said.

"I'd take it that the blade breakers and white tiger gang told you didn't they??."

And ginka said.

"Yes they did. They also told me that you have nine powerful beyblade that managed to defeat them.

Plus a new launcher from what they have told me.
What kind of launcher is it??."

And shinto said.

"First of all. My name is not naruto uzumaki any more.
I told you I've put that life behind me for this one.

Second. The launcher I have wasn't made by men. It was crafted by God's. A Divine launcher that no other person can use accept me."

And ginka said.

"Well you should know that pegasus and I have also gotten stronger. What's in the brief case if you don't mind me asking???."

And shinto said.

"The nine individual beyblades that I possess.
Nothing can defeat them.
Trust me I would know.

Because I created them myself out of a very rare metal that you won't find anywhere else."

And ginka said.

"I take it that you only came to scope out the competition am I right???. That kid zero seems pretty confident in himself. He might just give you a challenge."

And shinto said.

"A bit of advice ginka.
Before that kid challenges me. I want you to battle him to determine if he's ready.

If he's not then train him and train him hard until he cracks. If he's going to beat me he's going to need all the help he can find."

Just then. Samurai ifrit went flying towards Shinto who caught it with his bare hand and threw it back at zero.

Zero then said.

"Just who exactly are you anyway!!?. And how did you stop samurai ifrit with your bare hand like that!!!. That shouldn't be possible!!!."

And shinto said.

"A small piece of advice kid.
And I told this to ginka as well. If your gonna battle someone like me. And if you truly want to win. Do your research.

Know the limits to the strengths and weaknesses of your own beyblade before you challenge mine. My bit beasts aren't ordinary.

Get stronger. Train hard with ginka. And when he feels your ready enough to challenge me.

Come to my island and show me your strength and Bond with your bit beast. I'll be there waiting."

Shinto then walked out of the arena as he left a dumbfounded zero and a confident ginka behind him.

One thing was certain. Ginka's training was going to be long hard and brutal for zero. And he wasn't going to stop until he's positive zero could win.

Ginka then said.

"Well zero you heard what he said. From this day forward I'll be training you to defeat Shinto's beyblade.

There's nine different ones he has which means we're going to train you and samurai ifrit nine different ways.

I hope your ready because your training starts at dawn. Be up and ready or I'll drag you out here to train you myself.

Oh. And one more thing. Your gonna have to do alot of physical training before we battle each other.

The strength of a bladers bond with their bit beast is only as strong as their will and desire to win."

Zero didn't know it yet but he's just signed up for the pegasus bootcamp of future bladers from hell.

And what a hell it was going to be.
