Chapter 2

After school Jughead drives his motorcycle back to his trailer. As he eats a sandwich in his trailer he wonders why Archie didn't come to school today so he calls him. But Archie doesn't pick up. That's strange ~he thinks. Jughead finishes his sandwich and decides to take a walk in fox forest to clear his head. How could she ever like a weirdo like me? Why am I even doubting that? She's dating Archie... ~he thinks kicking rocks as he goes. He realizes his phone is ringing. He looks at the caller id and sees it's Betty. He scoffs. What could she possibly want? ~he wonders as he picks up.
Jughead: "Why are you calling me?"
Betty: "Hi, Archie's missing..."
Jughead: "What do you- oh my god... Do you know anything?!"
Betty: "No, I'm really worried."
Jughead: "I'm so sorry Betty."
Betty: "I talked to his mom this morning."
Jughead: "What did she say?"
Betty: "That this morning he wasn't home. So she thinks he snuck out last night."
Jughead: "Oh..."
Betty: "I've tried calling him but he won't answer. I just don't know what to do."
Jughead: "Same here... Just let the police find him. He can't be far."
*silence*
Jughead: "Goodbye Betty." He ends the call. Betty puts her phone down on her desk. She sits on her bed and puts her head in her hands. Jughead keeps walking but he suddenly feels sad so he goes back to his trailer. After a couple of minutes Betty gets up from her bed. She puts on her coat and grabs a flashlight. She walks out of her house in the direction of the woods. Jughead takes off his clothes and puts on his pajamas, just some comfy pants. Betty enters the woods. Meanwhile Jughead starts to research things online to maybe help shine some light on Archie's disappearance. Betty walks around in the woods with her flashlight. Jughead hacks into Archie's messages and sees that Archie was texting a girl named Ginger. The conversation seemed to be far from appropriate... He feels bad for Betty. How could Archie cheat on her? ~he thinks and sighs. Betty decides to leave the woods. Betty then decides to search the trailer park.
Writer's note: Betty does not know that that is where Jughead lives. And keep in mind that Jughead is shirtless.
Jughead starts eating his dinner while doing more research, then he goes out to dump the trash. Betty goes around the trailer park. And then the light of her flashlight shines onto Jughead. He stares in surprise, blinded by the light in his face.
Betty: "Oh ummm... hi. This is awkward."
Jughead: "Hello? Do I know you?" He can't see her because of the light. She lowers her flashlight to the floor.
Jughead: Betty?! What the hell are you doing here, are you out of your mind?"
Betty: "Uh... What are you doing here?"
Jughead: "I live here." he snaps. "What's your excuse?"
Betty: "Oh I didn't know that..."
Jughead: "Yeah I figured."
Betty: "ummm... I'm sorry."
Jughead: "We don't know much about each other anymore. Just leave."
Betty: "Yeah... I should go home." He turns to walk away. Betty sighs and goes home. She arrives home and cries herself to sleep.
