Chapter 7

Monday
Jughead decides to go over to Betty's house to walk her to school. When he gets there he knocks on the door. Betty's mom, Alice Cooper, opens the door.
Jughead: "Hi miss Cooper. Is Betty here?"
Alice: "Oh hello young man. Betty's eating her breakfast right now."
Jughead: "Okay, I just wanted to walk her to school."
Alice: "Oh ok. Come in..."
Jughead: "Thank you." He walks in and she closes the door behind him. Jughead waits by the door while Betty finishes her breakfast. She grabs her bag, puts on her coat and walks over to the door.
Jughead: "Hey Betts."
Betty: "Hey? What are you doing here?"
Jughead: "I came to walk you to school."
Betty: "Umm... Shouldn't you be walking Sabrina to school instead?"
Jughead: "I can leave... or?"
Betty: "No it's fine."
Jughead: "Okay."
Betty: "I'm just saying... She is your girlfriend after all."
Jughead: "She never texted me this morning."
Betty: "Oh, well, you should of texted her." She opens the door and before closing it says "BYE MOM!"
Jughead: "Yeah, I guess." Betty closes the door.
Betty: "Well c'mon. I'll allow you to walk me to school this one time." She laughs. They start walking.
Betty: "Jug."
Jughead: "hmm?"
Betty: "But seriously you should hang out more with her..."
Jughead: "I do."
Betty: "I just know that if I was your girlfriend I definitely wouldn't want you to be a lot with another girl."
Jughead: "I was trying to be nice. But whatever... I don't need relationship advice." He starts to cross the street.
Betty: "Jug! I'm sorry! Wait!" He stops and turns to her.
Jughead: "What?!"
Betty: "I'm so bad at being a good friend."
Jughead: "Stop."
Betty: "I just don't want us to grow apart again."
Jughead: "Yeah. Me neither."
Betty: "It's been so good having you back. I do wanna loose you again." He gives her a hug and she hugs him back.
Jughead: "Ok... Let's go now." She let's go.
Betty: "Ok." They walk to school. When they arrive Betty goes to her locker and Jughead spots Sabrina at her locker and goes over to her.
Jughead: "Hey babe." He places a kiss on Sabrina's cheek. Betty rolls her eyes from afar. Jughead and Sabrina talk to each other at their lockers until the bell rings. Betty enters a classroom. Jughead and Sabrina enter a different classroom holding hands and then sit down next to each other. The bells rings a couple of times and soon it's lunch. Sabrina and Jughead grab their trays and go eat in the cafeteria together. Betty goes and eats under a tree in the courtyard while reading. The bell rings and they all go back to their classes. When the last bell finally rings Jughead and Sabrina go to Pop's together and Betty goes home. Jughead takes Sabrina to his trailer and they decide to watch a movie on his couch. She starts to kiss him but once more he feels awkward and kind of disgusted. So he takes her home and then goes back to his trailer. He sits of his couch scratching his head. He thinks: Why do I end our dates every time? She's such a great girl and I think I really like her. Jughead stands up and kicks the coffee table. He does some homework and goes to bed.
