Lissa had no idea what to expect from court, It was supposed to be much more secure which was the reason they were to court however, she didn't have any other expectations. She knew to some degree, did know that the politics of the place will be much worse than at the academy. She'll have to step up and take much more charge just like her brother would to make her family proud. she could practically hear rose 'you are not your brother! Or any other family member. They would want you to be yourself' but how could lissa let herself be pushed around like this?
She couldn't allow it.
Being at court would be a good chance for her to develop her family name and change the image which she had created for herself since the strange attacks started. If she were honest, lissa really didnt like the current queen due to the extremely calculated outlook she had on everything. She hadnt mentioned it to rose since it was her aunt but if being calculating was the way to get her family name to be loved than that will be the way she will do things.
"Hey liss, you okay?" Rose asked, looking at her with those concerned eyes of hers which everyone had been giving lissa.
"It feels like you're blocking me or something, you okay?" Rose asked again, her voice lower.
"My mind is just blank, I guess I'm kind of tired"
"Okay, dont worry, we'll figure this out"
Lissa hated how reassured she felt as rose smiled at her. She couldn't be so dependent on rose anymore, rose is also a princess yet, here she was much stronger.
I will be stronger, even stronger than her. Its time for me to take action.
