What's broken can't be fixied

Chapter 8

Where am I, all I see is black and I can hear people talking around me but I don't understand what they are saying

I start to open my eyes but immediately shut them because of the pain caused by the bright lights, after a few minutes I open my eyes fully

"Oh my god thank god your ok" I heard Emily say as she runs to give me a hug "yeah why wouldn't I be ok" she gave me a pity look "well you did faint"

I tried remembering what had happened but the last thing I remember was Jake grabbing my shoulder

I look behind her to see everyone else here also giving me a look of pity "hi" I said to them, the nurse wakes in with a cup of water

She handed it to me and I drank it "well we did some test and it seems like the cause of you fainting is because of constant stress and fear" Jake looked at me "fear?" He questioned

"um sorry guys but I have to talk to Ava alone ok" the nurse said to everyone, they nodded and walked out the room

I looked at the nurse confused on what she had to tell me "Ava when you came in we saw scars all over your body and when we looked at you closely we found signs of sexual assault"

Wait did the group see, like she can read my mind she said "don't worry your friends didn't see anything" I gave her a slow nod

"So would you like to explain" I hesitated a little but before telling her cause why not "well before I used to get abused and raped by my father and old friend"

She gave me a look of pity, I've been seeing that look a lot lately and I hate it so much because they would say their sorry but it's not their fault so why are they apologizing.

"We can get you a therapist if you want" I shook my head lightly and wiped the tears that I didn't know spilled "well once we get you signed out then you can leave"

"Thank you" I replied, she nodded and the left the room, either group came in after she left

"What did she say" Noah asked me "she just questioned why I've been stressed and stuff"

I started to get up "she said I can leave now so let's go" I told them, Noah and Liam helped get up and to the bathroom so that I can change into my cloths, once done I walked out the bathroom and started walking to the door

2 pairs of arms belong walk and it was again Noah and Liam hmm Jake is quiet, wonder why

(Btw Ava got home and now she's in bed watching Netflix)

I'm still thinking about why I fainted, I mean the nurse said because of stress and fear but I feel like the actual reason are the flashbacks and all the things that always somehow tie back to them which I don't like.

Now that I think about it on my moms funeral I never actually saw her body well nobody did which is weird.
