Right when I got into my cab I called Emily to tell her the exciting news, she picked up immediately

I took a big breath since I literally said that in one breath "yeah I know but I'm really excited"
"Omg this is so exciting finally your lonely butt can get a boyfriend"

"Have you heard from Ava yet?" Jake asked me for like the 100th time since we entered the car "ugh jake shut up and let her live she's not your anyways"
Jake scoffed and whispered something u see his breath that I didn't pick up
I felt my phone ringing so I grabbed it and speak of the devil it's Ava "see it her I'm sure she's fine, I'm gonna put her on speaker"
Right as I picked up she started talking "Oh my god Emily guess what happened at the mall"
"Ouuu what happened" I replied with curiosity, I saw jake lean back in his chair to hear more clearer since I'm in the back seat and he's in the passenger seat.

He stayed looking at me almost trying to intimidate me "so what did Ava say?" He asked trying to hold in his anger "oh you know just regular stuff"
He gave me a suspicious look "what kinda of stuff?" I gave him a bored look "some guy in some of her classes asked her on a date and she said yes" I said as I shrugged
I saw him make fists with his hands and his jaw clenched
